Miss Piggy has a new sleeping place.  She still hates me.  Rumsfeld has completely trashed the condo this weekend.  He acts like a sugared up two year old.   Doc Holiday is helping me write today.  The constant licking of my left hand is annoying. Then she glares at me, and I know she is ready to pounce.  I know cats express their affection by little nips and slaps, but I know she loves me.  I’m her mommy (not that she did anything for Mother’s Day for me).  But still, it gets painful.  My hands stay a mess of tiny bite marks and cuts. 

 

I finally managed to get the new balcony fountain up and running.  It is a good thing I did not opt for a larger one or I would be fishing Rumsfeld out of it.  As it is, he was quite fascinated with it, running back and forth like a little kid, trying to play in it.  I like the fact that it is quite loud (the fountain, not Rumsfeld).

 

Once again I am blogging lite.  I ended up running errands down in Alamogordo today.  The temp went from 62 to 92 then back to 62 the moment I drove into some rain showers. 

 

A MINI-RANT

Rude, Cruel, Biased, & Obnoxious Conservatives

I don’t mind admitting I was livid this afternoon when I heard Mark Levin refer to Lindsey as “Goober”.  I don’t like Mark Levin.  I think he is a course, bigoted jerk who gives conservatives their bad name.  His comments about Lindsey made me realize why I dislike extreme conservatives so intensely.  They are just as cruel, bigoted, biased, and nasty as extreme liberals.  I think this is even worse than liberal bias and cruelty because conservatives are alleged to ‘know better’.  

 

What Levin did today was disgusting.  It also proved he is in no way a Republican but a conservative ideologue who puts his ideology ahead of his country or what is best for the American people.  Here he was, advocating the defeat of a United States Senator – a Republican no less, because ‘the Goober’ always sided with the ACLU and disagrees with Levin on immigration.  Lindsey does not side with the ACLU, and has a much higher lifetime ACU rating that Levin’s ‘conservative savior’ Fred Thompson.

 

The reason we have Harry Reid as Senate Majority Leader is because of ‘conservatives’ like Levin who don’t give a rip about right and wrong, just ideals.  

 

The worst part of it is the fact that Mark Levin isn’t fit to carry Lindsey Graham’s golf bag. I was in the car on the way up the mountain when I heard all of this.  If I could have picked up Michael Reagan’s show, I would have.  About that time my father called.  I was ranting and raving.  Like my father said, “You get a decent man like Lindsey in office and all the conservatives can do is try to destroy him.  We all know Lindsey is one of the most decent men in Washington.”  Ditto.

Malkin on the John Doe law.  I am pleased to say that NM 2nd District Congressman Steve Pearce is one of those who has been pushing this bill since day one.  

 

This looks like a hit piece aimed at Drudge, but it mirrors something I’ve been saying for a few months.  Drudge is trying to shape this election in favor of Mitt Romney.  I don’t know about you, but I think he has forfeited a bit of the respect and the consequence he once had.

 

Did you hear the one about NBC going SCI FI for fall?  Science fiction sells. Of course what they have sounds terrible.  Why on earth they don’t let the SCI FI channel develop programming for them, I don’t know.

You hear about all those drunken illegal aliens who kill people while driving drunk, but have you heard about what could be a serial killer who is preying on illegals at border crossings?    While investigators suspect rival ‘coyotes’ are responsible, I seriously wonder if that is the case.

MY RANT FOR THE DAY

George Soros and Bush Derangement Syndrome

Something dawned on me this morning while I was listening to Rush (yet another day driving around NM, where you can’t get anywhere from anywhere!).  He was discussing the fairness doctrine.  It started a chain of thought.

 

The Dems obviously want to shut down any media that is favorable to the GOP.  Okay, it’s politics and all is far in love, politics, and war.  But then I started thinking about the abject hate they have for George W. Bush.  Do the Dems hate Bush because he “stole” the election from Algore – or do they hate him because he is a Christian.

 

Outrageous idea, right? 

 

Then it dawned on me that maybe the whole thing, the abject need to destroy George W. Bush is exactly because he is a Christian.  I know it sounds far-fetched, but then I realized that maybe it isn’t.  Remember, George Soros is calling the shots.  (Bud Simmons has some interesting thoughts over on his blog Thoughts of a Conservative Christian.)   We all know Soros hates Christians. 

 

ASIDE:  Maybe we should all start praying for Soros to become a Christian.  It would be our greatest ‘revenge’ against him!  (Dennis Prager has an interesting Townhall piece about Soros and his “Jewish” background.)

 

Then I google around and discover that Joseph Onek is now on Nancy Pelosi’s staff.  He is a major Soros operative. Evidently Pelosi is taking her marching orders directly from the Soros machine.   

 

I had no intention for today’s rant to go in this direction.  I just started connecting the dots and came up with Soros.  Is it actually possible that President Bush is literally being persecuted as a Christian?  Is it possible the reason we are dealing with all of this anti-Bush propaganda and all the lies is to make him look bad?  If so, I would gather George Soros is terrified of George W. Bush.  Why?  Is it because Bush is a courageous leader or because George W. Bush is a powerful Christian?  George W. Bush must be destroyed at all costs.  It really doesn’t matter if we lose the war on terror.  Or, does the Soros machine want us to do so?  Why does this man think he can control our country.

 

It is almost as though we were dealing with a megalomaniac bad guy from a James Bond movie.  The Soros machine tells us GWB is an idiot, brainless.  But, consider this fact.  The man has the most difficult job in the world but still has time to read. /Contrast this to the latest fluff Presidential candidates from both parties are reading.  (Okay, give Tancredo a point for his zinger aimed at Algore).   Bush is an idiot.  Bush deserves to be impeached.  Bush has no brains.  On and on….move on – please.
