MY LONG PROMISED IMMIGRATION RANT

The greatest problem with that Hate Crimes Bill passed by the US House of Representatives is the fact that it trivializes hate.  Anyone who denies the that hate crimes do not exist against illegal Hispanic migrants is trivializing hate.  

How do you promote hate against a group of people?

First you need to come up with some buzz words: Illegal, wet-back and the like do quite well.  You need buzz-words that create an emotional response in individuals who aren’t intellectually capable of thinking through the labels.  Then you keep repeating them, keep repeating the lies until someone, someone important, someone with a loud voice and a nation-wide platform starts repeating them.  You need a Lou Dobbs, Sean Hannity, Bill O’Reilly, Tom Tancredo, Pat Buchanan, an Ann Coulter, Michelle Malkin and a whole alphabet soup of advisors, politicians, and ‘thinkers’.  

Like John Tanton you need to plan for the long term.  You need to cover your tracks through a multitude of holding companies.  You act and think bold.  You find attractive people who have a specific audience.  You find psychologists to cherry-pick  your buzz words.  You get your Lou Dobbs to start spewing the more outlandish hate, while manipulating a powerful broadcaster like Bill O’Reilly into accepting your every word, no questions asked.

Then suddenly your platform of hate against a group of people who belong to a religion where birth control is shunned, people who multiply rapidly, like rabbits in your eyes, is complete.  Your dreams of population reduction, of world-wide birth control, of eugenics to select only the very best the human race can offer are now invisible, cloaked in red, white, and blue patriotism.  ‘Send ‘em all back’ is the mantra.  They are breaking the law.  They are criminals.  They come into the nation illegally.  It is perfect.  By the time upward of 10-12 million illegal aliens, their spouses and children (a majority of whom are legal American citizens) are deported you can remove upwards of 50 million people from this nation.  By selective abortion and a one child policy, your dreams of a United States with only 90 million people are no longer just wishful thinking.  

Then, you luck out.  The United States is attacked by foreigners.  Suddenly a nation where an illegal alien might get a break is transformed by fear and paranoia.  It is the perfect time to act.

How is racial intolerance born?

Well, just watch the news.  Listen to O’Reilly and Lou Dobbs. Listen as they spew irrational and dangerous hate, backed up by numbers spoon fed to them by the merchandisers of that hate.  

By far the greatest racism spewed at illegal aliens is against people from Mexico.  Simply ignore the political, economic, and humanitarian situation in that country.  Ignore actual economic feasibility in this country.  Manipulate Christian theology to mask your cruel and inhumane ideology.  Now you are well on your way.

Remember:  you must trivialize hate crimes.

Remember:  you must forget everything you have been taught about Christian love and kindness.

Remember:  you must find a scapegoat for your irrational hatred.

Ah, yes, the Mexican immigrant.  They all look alike, right?  How do you know who is legal and who isn’t?  Well, you start demanding anyone who remotely looks Mexican “show your papers”.  Guess what, this is occurring how, here in New Mexico.  It has occurred here in Lincoln County.  You turn a blind eye to the fact that questionable individuals with criminal backgrounds hold American citizens at gunpoint.  After all, they look Hispanic.  You ignore the truth and state only what the mongers of hate want you to say.  You ignore the fact that a Border Patrol agent murders a man in cold blood and is indicted for first degree murder.  The murdered is MEXICAN, an illegal, a criminal.  First degree murder must be acceptable, so you run to his defense the way Hannity is currently doing.

What is next?

In Germany they solved the problem of identifying those pesky Jews by making them wear a yellow Star of David.  I propose that people like Lou Dobbs, Sean Hannity, and Bill O’Reilly suggest everyone in the US who appears to be Hispanic wear – say – a chili pepper.  After a Mexican or Hispanic looking person has proven beyond a shadow of a doubt (by present several dozen official documents – you can’t take the word of just one.  These people are crafty.  They manufacture papers.  So, you need a complete battery of papers). 

Once a Hispanic appearing person has proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that he or she is a genuine American, then make them wear a red, white, and blue chili pepper.  If a person can only produce, maybe a dozen genuine documents, force them to wear a red chili, allowing them to be rounded up like cattle and held in detention until the public feels they are acceptable Americans.  

Oh, those pesky immigrants, the ones here legally should be forced to wear a green chili pepper.

Illegals should wear a yellow one.  These people will be deported at the whim of the people.

The absolutely tragic aspect of this is unless people listen to reason, unless otherwise good men like Hannity, Dobbs, and O’Reilly do not shut up long enough to listen to reason, this is where our nation is heading.  We are going down a primrose path paved with ill-intentions, destined to repeat the lessons of history we should have learned 60 years ago.  

Once upon a time, good people, good decent people were seduced into co-operating with an ideology of hate.  What we once declared “Never Again” is on the verge of happing again.  If we do not stop what is occurring now, I am seriously afraid it will once again occur. I don’t know about you, but I would rather err on the side of allowing a group of people to remain in the nation illegally than to participate in a well- planned agenda of hate.

During the past week I have laid out logical reasons why illegal migratory immigration is so different from illegal immigration by people who plan to do our nation ill.  Illegal migrants only want a better life.  They are not the same as illegal Islamic terrorists.  Anyone who tries to equate the two is not only lying to him or herself but to the nation as a whole.

Yes we have a problem with our borders.  But forcing upward of 10 million people to leave, to return to their homes where they have no hope of a future is not the way to do things.  We must take into consideration the extreme problems with Mexico.  We must understand how corrupt and dangerous a nation Mexico is.  The only way we can plan for our own future security is to assimilate these people.  Teach them how to be good citizens.  Allow them to have duel citizenship so they can go back to Mexico and vote against political corruption.  Allow them to accumulate enough money and personal power to return home and change their country.  If not, we are going to be facing such sever sociological challenges, they will dwarf the War on Terror.
