Well, today the weather is like August, chilly and rainy.  Rumsfeld and Mommy Cat are still involved in their ‘romance’. I think we just need to call it a ‘romance’ and be done with it. Don’t forget, on The Pink Flamingo’s Reading List I have a link to the book The Sociopath Next Door.  I think everyone should be reading this book.  I have a new Blog Critics article up and running – To Peep or Not to Peep.

Okay, blame it on the umpires!  After detailed statistical analysis evidently the umps are using a larger strike zone, which is driving down batting averages.

Voters inLas Cruces have approved the Spaceport!

Did Target toss two Marines in dress uniform out the door because they did not want them recruiting inside the store?  I thought people could shop anywhere they wanted in this country.  I’m not pleased with Target right now.

I want to know how Algore is going to blame the USfor the earthquake the ravaged the Solomons and lifted the islands meters above the water, destroying pristine coral reefs.  And another view of global warming.

Have you heard the one about liberals now wanting to impose their own version of a code of conduct on the blog world.  I think we all know who the rudest bloggers are.  We all know it is a way for the NYTimes to try and put a damper on the blog world.  Can you say “Market Share?”

MY CONVOLUTED RAVE FOR THE DAY

Immigration

You know all those conservatives who have their undies in a wad over the two jailed border patrol agents?  Well, have you heard even one of them defending Ephraim Cruz?  He is a whistleblower who was set up by the BP as punishment.  Now, according to Immigration Prof Blog that the Cruz has been acquitted of the charges.  I’ve been looking for ages to try and find anything out about him.

“…However, without providing details, Rodriguez hints that the Border Patrol isn't quite done with Agent Cruz. "If he's found innocent, OK, but they're still looking through the administrative process as well," the spokesman says. "I'm not sure what they're looking at. But they are going to make sure that no administrative violations were breached in whatever he was doing."

Nor is Agent Cruz done with the Border Patrol. His next task is getting his job back, and he's going to press the detainee issue with Southern Arizona's congressional delegation. Even today, Border Patrol practices "do not coincide with the written policies," Cruz says. "That's their culture--they'll write policies for immigrant-rights groups, for the media, for the public. But what they're doing quietly behind the scenes is my concern." He also wants to be an example for younger agents. That's why calls the jury verdict "a win for the Border Patrol, for two reasons. One, a jury of my peers restored my faith in the American justice system. And two, agents in Douglas were seeing me being made an example of, for reporting internal abuses--for standing up for what's right--and so they became scared. It shut them down. "Agents are pushed to have integrity, as long as integrity is not embarrassing the Border Patrol. Hopefully, this is an example to junior agents who see their peers engaged in wrongdoing ... that they'll report it. Yeah, they might have to go through the ringer like I did. But in the end, the truth will prevail."  And maybe they won't be put through that ringer. "Look at how much money (the Border Patrol) spent pursuing me," Cruz says, "how much energy and creative time was spent on one person. I told them in my initial memo, 'Here's the problem, and here's the solution.' We could have addressed this a long time ago, and all of us (could have) moved on and saved the agency a lot of embarrassment and funds and its reputation. But they chose a different course."

Sorry anti-immigration people, but Cruz was persecuted for blowing the whistle on bad treatment of illegal.  Yep, BAD TREATMENT!

And the luck o the Irish….all those ILLEGAL Irish immigrants and nary an INS agent around to deport them!  You gonna tell me this whole thing isn’t racist?

(sigh) ah yes, and where do we go when we discuss “Chain Immigration”?  Well….. right back to John Tanton.    How long is it going to take for you people to realize it is not about immigration but two things:  anti-Hispanic bigotry and population control. EUGNICS.  Want to know a thing or two about eugenics?  I would suggest watching The Wrath of Kahn.  That’s where it’s all leading – to perfect humans.

Tanton crony Richard Lamm wrote

“,,,One of the great challenges to Public Policy is knowing when and how to change a successful policy, grown obsolete. Very few policies are immortal. Time is a kaleidoscope presenting policy makers with an ever-changing pattern. Yet the clichés from one era often linger in our minds and public dialogue as if they were written in stone. Too often we confuse temporary success with universal wisdom. In my experience almost inevitably today's solutions become tomorrow's problems. Take immigration as an example:

Of course, "we are a nation of immigrants," but immigrants originally settled every nation in the world; this cliché confuses facts with wisdom. It tells nothing about what we want America to become. Of course, immigration "has been good for America," but we are no longer an empty continent - we are a crowded country of 290 million people, with problems of sprawl, pollution, and disappearing open space. When the Statue of Liberty was erected in 1886, there were less than 65 million Americans. What other public policy applicable to the 1880s is still applicable today?

It is said that immigration is important because there are "jobs that Americans won't do." This probably never was true, but this cliché has now become a job-destroying and wage-lowering philosophy where employers use both unskilled and (increasingly) skilled immigrants to hold down wages and obtain cheap labor at the expense of American workers.

One particular below-the-belt cliché suggests that all discussion of immigration is "racist." Yet every immigrant-receiving country in the world (and there are not many that take any immigrants) has not only the right but also the duty to discuss and decide how many immigrants, which immigrants, and by what rules such decisions are to be made and enforced. It would be public policy malpractice not to debate and discuss such an important topic….”

Then go read the rest of the page.  Do I need to start banging heads together – once again – to show you just who these people are?  They are racists.  They have some very bad connections.  It is about racism and population control, and making sure people who come here are WHTE, ANGLO-SAXON, CELTIC, BLUE EYES, AND SPEAK ENGLISH.  The way I feel right now, is if you want to make a fool of yourself and be taken in by the purveyors of hate, go ahead.  If you want to know the DOCUMENTED TRUTH, just head over to The Subway Canaries and start looking up the people quoted on this page.

These are some of the power players behind the anti-immigration movement today.  This link references The Social Contract Press.  Well, want to know about them? And, because the SPLC has been bad-mouthed so often by Tanton’s bunch, most ‘conservatives’ see it as just as evil as the ACLU.  Problem is, it isn’t.  I’ve researched it extensively.  It is far ‘cleaner’ then the Heritage Foundation and a heck of a lot richer.

You need to read my Blog Critics expose on Tanton.

The Tanton-brainwashed conservatives are already calling it amnesty.

Over at Mac’s Mind, Harold Hutchison, who is as reasonable about immigration as am I, has a great commentary.

Today the Prez unveiled yet another attempt to solve the immigration problem.  It is rational and DOES NOT CONTAIN AMNESTY.  Fact is, I’m not happy about the guest worker end of it.  Studies have shown that people who are here as guest workers are treated far worse than those who are here illegally.  “Guest workers” are little more than slaves.

Yes, we have a problem – BUT – we need to address it in a reasonable way.  We also need to discount anything that comes out of the Tanton based web of entangled organizations.

Conservatives who take a hard line on immigration need to sit back and realize they are being played for fools by people with agendas that are so nefarious no one believes it.  People laugh at me for pulling out the information I’ve found and discussing it.  The old internet joke is the first person to use the word ‘Nazi’ loses.  The problem here is we are dealing with some extremely nasty white supremacists who have links back to some very unsavory people who were in power back in the 1930s and 1940s in Europe.

I just don’t understand why people who are good, decent, kind, honorable people with hearts just simply close down and put on blinders when it comes to illegal immigration.

Why can’t they see reason?

And don't try that old "they are breaking the law" line.  It's getting old.
