Lucky me.  I was hit by 100+ – count em’ – 100+ pornographic trackbacks between noon and 8PM then I quit counting. 

CUTE ALERT:  I have a very old rocking chair that has been in the family for close to 200 years.  The fabric on the bottom of the seat has been pulled loose by some miscreant or another.  This afternoon I discovered Miss Piggy in it, using it like a swing.  She had backed in with her little rear. Her head and front paws were peeking out, paws not quite touching the floor. Every once in awhile she would stretch down and touch the floor, giving herself a little swing.

MY DAILY RANT – PUBLIC PROFANITY & LIBERALS

Today while I was in a parking log putting loot into the Durango (okay a new vacuum, cat foot, litter, and Special K) my sensitive ears were assaulted by the violent strains of rap laden with “The F Word” – every other word.  I’m talking loud enough for people in El Paso to hear it, and that’s 100 or so miles away (as the crow flies).  I started thinking about people with little kids.  If I had a child I don’t know what I would do, but it would be something and I don’t think it would be too nice, that’s for sure.  I don’t quite understand why we must put up with this sort of ‘freedom of expression’.  Somewhere along the way someone needs to take a stand for public decency.  I use that sort of language.  Why must I be constantly and more frequently assaulted by such things?

I really don’t give a rip about a person’s freedom of profanity.  Don’t I have a right not to have it forced upon me?  What ever happened to the criteria of public decency, or has the day care generation so lowered the bar on what is public decency that anything now goes?

I wish I had a copy of O’Reilly’s most excellent Talking Points for today.  He discussed the way the country is going terribly liberal and the bad behavior there-of.  O’Reilly blames it on Iraq, I think that is a simplistic view point because O’Reilly is very much against the war these days, or so it appears.  The radicalization of the country is due, I believe to the Dems who have lost all reason, honor, and decency in their abject hatred of GWB and the MSM that constantly re-enforces the Dem stand on this.  When you add in the fact that something like 33% of the country is not on-line and has no intention of doing so, Houston, we have a problem.  We must consider the fact that a third of the country gets their news only for the increasingly liberal MSM.  Are they being brainwashed, or is this the segment of the country who just plain old doesn’t vote?

What does this and bad manners have to do with the price of Romulan Ale on Mars?  Quite a bit, actually.  With the exception of Ann Coulter, most Republicans and even conservatives are fairly well- mannered.  The more liberal the country becomes, the more vile their behavior.  Of course, when that happens, the pendulum will only swing back to manners – if we can last long enough!

 MY MOTHER IS RIGHT - AGAIN

For years my mother has been complaining about “Day Care Kids” and how poorly behaved they are.  Well, as usual, she is right.   If people want to know what is truly wrong with this country, just look around.  That first generation of day care children are now allegedly all grown up with kids of their own.  They are rude.  They are horrible.  They have no table manners.  They don’t know how to act – anywhere.  They are dangerous on the highway.  All they know how to do is battle one another for anything.  God help our country!  Seriously.
