THE GREAT CAT SOAP OPERA

The birth father is just plain Egyptian.  That’s all I’m going to say.  They woke me up around 6:AM, well, anyway.  There were 5 cats on the steps leading to my bedroom, plus Miss Piggy. CUTE ALERT:  Miss Piggy is thrilled to be an only child.  She has moved out of the nursery and thinks she is as big as the big guys.  She follows them, and appears to be fearless, ready to take Rumsfeld down at a moment’s notice.  When I went out for a few hours today I left her out, with Rumsfeld.  She was sitting beside him waiting for me when I came home.  She is also enjoying only child status at the ‘lunch counter’.  We do have one little problems.  She likes to nibble on power chords.   I think she has finally ‘crashed’.   

 

Don’t forget the Thursday Thirteens  FYI, for those kind TT’s I’ve had about how much I accomplished yesterday, well, forget it today.  First, the XM boom-box is a bust.  It doesn’t work, needs to be shipped back to the manf.  I did not catch another cat last night.  And, somehow my ‘neat’ house is now a wreck.

Reading Father Jake Stops the World made me think about something.  Is the Anglican Communion ticked with the Episcopal Church for our stand on Gays, etc. or because the ECUSA had the gall to elect a woman as Presiding Bishop, making her the first female ‘primate’ since Pope Joan.  (Remember what happened to her?)

I do not agree with many of our new Presiding Bishop’s ideas on theology, but it does make one wonder how much is homophobic and how much is punishment for recognizing a woman can be one of the ‘boys’ and have just as much rank, power, and status? I’m ready to opt for the latter.

  

All I will mention about the death of Anna Niccole Smith is the great tragedy is she died without Christ in her life. 

 

IMMIGRATON

Outside the Beltway on the growing gang problems in LA.    This is where you really need to be concerned about illegals.  Stop harassing ‘innocent’ families and people who are working and trying to make a better lie and go after the truly evil illegals among us. 

 

If were on our toes as a "Christian" nation, we would be facing the fact that we are going to be seeing more and more persecuted middle eastern Christians who need to be considered refugees.  But in order to do that, we must admit there is a wholesale slaughter and agenda by Islam against Christians, so I just don't see it happening.  So, what is right and what is wrong.  If they are illegal and, as conservatives demand, they broke the law so they should be shipped back home and they are killed, who is right and who is wrong?  Is Christ’s law greater than Uncle Sam’s law?  Where does our Christian devotion and beliefs start and stop?  Are we only Christians part of the time?  I thought Christ allowed no exceptions, either we follow Him or we follow Man.  Christians who are fleeing terror and are trying to get to the US (illegally) are breaking the law.  When did it become immoral for a man to try to get his family to safety and protect them from being slaughtered?  Is it only unacceptable when they are trying to come into the US illegally?  So it is okay to send Christians back to say – Iraq – to be slaughtered by Islamic factions, because it will teach other Christians who are trying to come into the US to save their families a lesson?  Frankly, I don’t understand the logic here.  I don’t  understand why we aren’t demanding Mexico release the Christian Iraqi family they are holding and we escort them here to join their family. 

 

In other words, we are expected to give up our humanity and our Christian values in order to uphold the laws of the land to the very letter of the law.  It is all so instructive. 

 

Dear hard line anti-immigration conservative.  If you don’t’ feel ashamed of yourself after reading this, you are the one who needs help.
