Jim Gilchrist, Minuteman founder

has been removed as leader of the organization

by order of Barbara Coe and others

You won't see this from the conservative MSM

Today there is so much good stuff and so little time!  I have so darn much good dodo that I am in danger of giving you blog over-load!

Something daffy is going on with The Pink Flamingo, track-backs, and the URL.  If you are having problems, please let me know.  We are trying to solve the problem, which is usually me, but might not be this time!  I am very unhappy with the way things look.  My HTML is not holding.  I’ve spent about 3 hours this afternoon trying to tweek things along, but right now I am not a happy camper.

Is there any truth to the rumor that HRM Nancy I was behind the attempted Al Qaeda hit on Dick Cheney today?   Let’s be honest, it may be the only way she can move up to a larger plane!  For more information go to Memorandum Yea, yea, Malkin has the nerve (sarcasm here) to say that an attack on the VP is an attack on the US.

The Hedgehog has word of a major development in Israel:  Professional Baseball!

According to Gateway Pundit those horrible Westboro Baptist Freaks are at it again.    Mellow Drama   Say a prayer for the Patriot Guard Riders who are fighting these monsters whenever possible.

MY RANT – PEDOPHILE DATA BASES

I haven’t done a shout-out for Absolute Zero, Fighting Pedophiles, but now is a great time to do so.  Last night I found a major rip-off that we all need to be aware of.  I am working on a guidebook for girls, a workbook, and am doing a chapter on child abuse and abusers.  I’ve been googling “pedophile database’ to get a working url to put in the book for a kid to check out someone in their area.  This is what I find. You must pay for the service!  Sex offender database - another pay site – same company!  Free Pedophile Look Up – doesn’t work, either. Family Watch Dog is not much help, either, but at least they don’t charge for the service.   They do require $24 a year for an email service updating predators living within 5 miles, but the service listing predators within 1 mile is free. The problem with this one is there are 4 or 5 known sex offenders in the zipcode I used and they did not show up, so I think I would be careful here.

The Sex Offender Database claims to list some 300,000 offenders. There is one registered sex offender living near me.  For additional information there is a $10 fee.

Sex Offender. Com They have a free search. This one lists 2 offenders for my zipcode.  This one works.  Criminal Check.com  works and it is for free.  But, I only get one name. Then there is the Code Amber site. It is by far the best site I’ve found.   This is what I came up with when I did a search by county “Lincoln” in NM.    It takes you to the state site which are definitely the most up to date.

The bottom line here is it is almost criminal the way for profit sites have gone in and secured the normal URLs that anyone would use to search for pedophiles or sex offenders.  In my personal opinion, it is almost criminal what they have done.

THE GREAT CAT SOAP OPERA

CUTE ALERT:  Last night Miss Piggy decided to play with big brother Bat Masterson’s tail.  She made a leap for it not knowing it wasn’t solid, and ended up, splat, splayed on her considerable tummy on the tile floor.  It was cute.  She is very well named.  Miss Piggy eats like a little piggy.  She waddles when she walks.  And – when I picked her up last night she was just plain old dirty!  She was full of all manner of dirt and debris.

REAL SCIENCE - ?

 IMMIGRATON

So what if the market crashed today and the Taliban tried to off Dick Cheney.  It is a good day! Sometimes you just gotta love it.  Jim Gilchrist has been kicked off his own board of directors for abusing power.  Bet you haven’t heard that one in the conservative MSM!    This is terribly important because it does prove that Barbara Coe is calling the shots!  Interestingly word of the coup did not leak out into the MSM!

“…Robert Vasquez — a former county commissioner in Idaho who, in his elected position, sued companies that hired illegal workers — said top conservative leaders turned against Gilchrist. Among them is Barbara Coe, who heads California Coalition for Immigration Reform and co-authored Proposition 187, the ballot measure that sought to deny undocumented immigrants certain public benefits. "Sometimes a position becomes bigger than the man," Vasquez said. "It's unfortunate that it has reached this point." Gilchrist opponents filed a complaint against their former leader with the Internal Revenue Service, alleging that he did not obtain nonprofit status for the Minuteman organization and improperly used a discount postal rate to solicit donations. Gilchrist said a direct mail organization was responsible to secure the nonprofit status and if it hadn't, it didn't amount to a criminal error on his part. Board members voted to replace Gilchrist with Marvin Stewart, an African American minister. Gilchrist said the board members have no voting power and serve in an advisory capacity.”…

Barbara Coe is listed as a member of the Council of Conservative Citizens, and all the relationship entails.   If this is true, and if she is one of those calling the shots, then where does Stormfront fit into all of this?  And this SPLC report on other connections with the minutemen.

The following just arrived in my inbox from a minuteman supporter.  I don't know about you, but I am enjoying this!

Dear Minutemen,

Yes it is true. Several people who Jim Gilchrist fully trusted have put their pursuit of money and power above the Cause. They conspired to remove Jim Gilchrist as head of the Minuteman Project and insert themselves in positions of power in the organization.

Who are these individuals?

Deborah Peterson - AKA Deborah Courtney
Marvin Stewart - a quasi-Minister and government worker
Barbara Coe - California Coalition for Immigration Reform

I am still stunned. Did they really think that all of us would just roll over and let this happen?

See the press release below and please note the following about these three individuals:

1. Using stolen passwords they hacked into our Web Servers and changed the passwords for several of our accounts.

2. They took control of all our Minuteman Project email addresses. As of right now, all email sent to anyone @minutemanproject.com goes to these corporate raiders. We are forced to use our personal email addresses until this is resolved in court. You can contact us at:

Linda Muller [WebMaster] - lindamuller@forthecause.us
Jim Gilchrist [MMP Founder]- century21minuteman@sbcglobal.net
Tim Bueler [Media] - media@timbueler.com

3. It also looks like they might have stolen our email list. If you, as a member of the Minuteman Project email list, receive email claiming it is from the MMP, from anyone other than me, Tim or Jim, please remember it is bogus.

4. They stole over 20,000 pages of our letterhead stationery and envelopes bearing Jim Gilchrist's personal signature. Needless to say if you receive any letters in the mail that seem out of character, you will know they are from this band of devious conspirators.

5. As of right now they have been unable to hack into our website - we still have full control over it. Tommy Crenshaw, who manages our system, is keeping watch on it round the clock. He says they are using sophisticated hacking tools to try and break into the Web Server. Thus far he has been able to thwart their incessant attempts to break in. Again, if you notice content on the website that seems out of character, you can assume that they were successful in taking over our website. If that happens, stay tuned to my personal website at www.forthecause.us for updates.

For now I just wanted to make sure you know about our email addresses and the stolen stationery so you will not be confused if you are contacted by them. I will be writing up much more on this over the next few days and posting it on the www.minutemanproject.com and the www.forthecause.us websites... and also emailing it to several lists.

Please help Jim Gilchrist and the Minuteman Project by sending this information across the USA. Post it on websites. Upload it to message boards and chat rooms.

I for one will be damned if I will stand quietly by while Deborah Peterson [AKA Deborah Courtney], Marvin Stewart and Barbara Coe try to steal the Minuteman Project from Jim Gilchrist. How about you?

As always, For the Cause - Linda And still the Minuteman Project Webmaster!

The Mexican Version of Why So Many of Their Own People Are Heading to the US:    I don’t like to copy/paste wholesale but this is very interesting and basically explains the whole problem we are having with illegal immigration.  In other words, it is not only our problem but also Mexico’s.

“…The migratory drain on Mexico's population shows up in demographic statistics, where 800 townships now register negative growth….The reason for this massive out-migration is clear. Mexico is not producing enough decent jobs for its people—and the United States is hiring. Between 2000 and 2005, Mexico lost 900,000 rural jobs and 700,000 in industry. President Felipe Calderon got off to a bad start in his attempt to reverse this trend. Government statistics for the first two months of his administration showed a loss of 178,370 jobs in the formal sector. The future doesn't look any rosier. A recent Bank of Mexico business survey projected 615,000 new jobs this year, representing a drop of 300,000 compared to last year and far short of the estimated one-million-plus jobs needed to absorb the number of Mexicans who enter the labor market every year.

growth in migration." …The National Campesino Front estimates that two million farmers have been displaced since NAFTA, in many cases related to the increase in U.S. imports. In 1994, the first year of the agreement, the United States exported $4.59 billion of agricultural products to Mexico, according to the Department of Agriculture. By 2006 the figure had risen to $9.85 billion—an increase of 114%. U.S. exports of corn, Mexico's staple crop and largest source of rural employment, alone doubled to over $2.5 billion in 2006. … In fact, NAFTA was supposed to solve immigration problems and decrease the pressure to seek jobs in the United States….The Mexican economy has, however, benefited from the predicament. Guillermo Ortiz, head of the central Bank of Mexico reported recently that 2006 remittances rose to an all-time high of $23.54 billion—20% over the previous year… While the World Bank, among others, cites NAFTA and the Mexican government's poverty assistance programs for achieving that end, a 2005 report from the Bank of Mexico gives credit where credit's due—poor families receive more assistance from remittances than from all government programs combined. …This contradiction has led critics to blame the Mexican government for fomenting out-migration because of its economic dependency on foreign income from migrants. Few Mexican politicians explicitly tout the role of remittances in countering severe imbalances in the national economy. Nevertheless, this reliance on remittances substitutes for any national development policies specifically aimed at generating employment and stimulating rural production…. “

DEMS & LIBERALS UNHINGED

HRM Nancy I has hired one of George Soros’ top guns.

Could Murtha’s plan to hold back money for Iraq splinter the Dems?  We can only hope.

ISLAM, IRAN, TERROR

Minneapolis cabbies will not bend.  I guess the rest of the world must.  Frankly, I think we should fire ‘em all.

Ed Koch on appeasing the enemy.

CONSERVATIVES GONE WILD:

Bob Inglis’ anti-Iraq vote is indicative of extreme conservatives who are very defiantly against the war.  Don’t jus think the liberals are anti-war.

More Fake Republican Syndrome.  Cross Posted at GOP Progress

For months I’ve felt like the ‘lone voice in the wilderness’ warning that we’re dealing with people who are claiming to be Republicans but aren’t.  We are dealing with a fascinating ‘perfect storm’ created, unfortunately, by almost universal access to the internet where every radical (liberal or conservative) has a soap box to stand on and  a ready made audience.

The perfect example of the problem is one Devvy Kidd, former Republican, now more a Constitution Party person.  She is actively promoting the campaigns of Tom Tancredo and Ron Paul.  In this News With Views piece, she promotes Dr. Norman. D. Livergood who is basically a nut-case who sees Illuminati, Bilderbergs, and free-masons in every attempt for George W. Bush to establish his neo-Nazi empire here on earth.  He also wants GWB impeached.

“…Get together with your friends or people you know if you're a Republican and plan your strategy now and work to get elected as a delegate. Time is quickly slipping by, every minute counts. The shadow government already knows how to play the game and too many otherwise patriotic Americans are getting sucked into supporting efforts dangerous to this republic. One example is the web site, new-enlightenment.com. This site has a lot of truth, but then slips into the "progressive" mode (buzz word for socialism/communism) and actually supports socialism:…” Devvy Kidd.

Devvy also advises, “…Those who support either Tancredo or Paul must begin the process now of getting elected as a delegate to the convention or it's all over and the GOP faithful will get the shadow government's choice shoved down their throats - again. The power players behind the scenes will orchestrate the show and the people will be the losers - again. The same applies with getting nominated as an electoral college delegate because America got a good lesson in civics during the 2000 pretend election regarding the popular vote vs the electoral college system. A word to the wise: if you present yourself as a supporter of Tancredo or Paul, you will never get elected as a delegate. Wave the flag, shout power to the GOP, rah, rah, rah, get elected and then begin your campaign to get either of these two candidates nominated. Now, some might say this type of stealth isn't right. Here's what's not right: back room deals and big money giving the American people no choice in these elections and anyone who thinks this isn't how the process has been working for the past century is in a state of denial. …”

Let’s be honest here.  We are dealing with very entertaining wing-nuts.  But, they are working in conjunction with Chuck Baldwin and his News with Views.  Unfortunately Baldwin’s readers are very active politically. I think it would be smart to keep an eye on them.

PRIMARIES 2008

President Bush #44?

Is Rudy confusing the GOP or just wacky conservatives?

According to Dick Morris, McCain’s campaign has collapsed.  I will not do the usual Newsmax warning because his column appears elsewhere.

 Giuliani and redefining the GOP.

Romney plans leaked.  Memorandum

“…Giuliani is called an outside-the-Beltway rock star and truth teller who earned the nation's trust for his leadership of New York City's response to the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks. But he is described as a one-dimensional Lone Ranger whose social views -- he supports abortion rights and civil unions for gay couples -- could destroy the "GOP brand." "We can't disqualify Dems like Hillary on social issues ever again" if Giuliani is the nominee, the document states.

The plan also touches on what it calls Giuliani's ethical issues, including his relationship with Bernard Kerik , former New York police commissioner who withdrew from consideration to become US homeland security secretary amid allegations of improprieties. It raises Giuliani's "personal political liabilities," an apparent reference to his three marriages and bitter public divorce from his second wife, Donna Hanover.  It is clear that Romney's campaign operatives plan to make sure that voters are familiar with the perceived weaknesses of McCain and Giuliani and conduct opposition research on the candidates. But the campaign, according to the blueprint, also wants to avoid attacking either man too directly or harshly, in part because Romney wants their supporters to ultimately shift to him. At a campaign stop in New Hampshire last week, he called McCain and Giuliani friends and national heroes.

The plan concedes that, with McCain and Giuliani in the race, Romney is unlikely to be the top pick for those voters looking for a "war/strong leader." His goal appears to be establishing himself as a credible second choice for those voters, but the first pick for voters looking for an energetic, optimistic, and innovative chief executive. (A page titled "Own the future" dubs McCain the past, Giuliani the present, and Romney the future. )…”

This came from my ‘brother’ LTC Floyd Harris:

One sunny day in 2008, an old man approached the White House from across Pennsylvania Avenue, where he'd been sitting on a park bench. He spoke to the Marine standing guard and said, "I would like to go in and meet with President Hillary Clinton." The Marine replied, "Sir, Mrs. Clinton is not President and doesn't reside here." The old man said, "Okay," and walked away. The following day, the same man approached the White House and said to the same Marine, "I would like to go in and meet with President Hillary Clinton". The Marine again told the man, "Sir, as I said yesterday, Mrs. Clinton is not President and doesn't reside here." The man thanked him and again walked away . . . The third day, the same man approached the White House and spoke to the very same Marine, saying "I would like to go in and meet with President Hillary Clinton." The Marine, understandably agitated at this point, looked at the man and said, "Sir, this is the third day in a row you have been here asking to speak to Mrs. Clinton. I've told you already several times that Mrs. Clinton is not the President and doesn't reside here. Don't you understand?" The old man answered, "Oh, I understand you fine, I just love hearing your answer!" The Marine snapped to attention, saluted, and said, "See you tomorrow."
