HUGE BREAKING NEWS:  The birth father has been caught!

 

Is it boring or is it just me?  If it weren’t for the Dems trying to undermine both the POTUS and the Constitution, not much would be going on, would it?  I can’t even think of anything to write, maybe because I am working so hard on layouts, trying to get galleys to ‘Auntie Willa’ in a timely manner so I can start working on another project.

 

THE GREAT CAT SOAP OPERA:  This afternoon, while I was out foraging for kitty litter, I left Maggie & Raymond cleaning.  Raymond decided to take a chance, and had Maggie quietly bring him the carrier. He grabbed the birth father by the tail and tossed him into the carrier before the blasted cat knew what had happened!  The cat is now living in San Patricio as a barn cat!  I feel as though my entire condo has been liberated!  He was the only cat I’ve ever disliked in my whole life!  Raymond was telling me the darn cat had fangs over a half inch long!  Seriously, I was afraid of the darn cat.  Bat Masterson is home and appears to be none the worse for wear (minus claws and a few other misc. parts).  He is lounging next to Doc, sleeping off his traumatic experience.  I think very serious decisions about Brunhilda must be made by tomorrow.  My sister, the nurse, tells me late stage kidney failure is painful in humans, that she is suffering.  I can’t allow her to suffer.  GeorgieW is eating and drinking water, evidently enjoying her spa stay.  Still no word on the tests. Bat Masterson won’t come near me!  I think he’s really ticked.  Wonder why? 

 

Earlier today I emailed blogharbor support about hit counters.  The site stats I rec. through blog harbor are completely different from those I rec. from the various hit counters, etc. I have on the blog.  The difference is startling, enough to make me want a copy of a hit counter linked to my stats.  If you believe blog harbor and the space usage I pulled nearly 10,000 hits yesterday.  If you believe some of the misc counters, I did a tiny fraction of this.  Now it seems to me I should be using the hits from the counter where I am paying for the storage space.  That gives me about 85,000 hits for the month.  This way down from Jan, but I still don't understand those two days where I pulled nearly 75,000. 

 

I can handle the resolution and ultimatum presented to the ECUSA.  No more gay bishops and no gay marriages.  With luck and prayer, cooler heads – oh, we’re talking Christians here…so much for that.   What the Archbishop said.

 

By now my regular readers have ascertained I have a certain love affair with archaeology.  An exciting find was just announced out of Egypt.     This is late 5th or early 6th Dynasty.  Cool!  Keep in mind Tutankhamen was 18th Dynasty.

 

This whole asteroid hysteria is much ado about nothing.  Once again, Henny Penny, the sky if falling.  We’re talking a 1 in 45,000 chance of a hit here.  Yes, we need to be discussing the fact that eventually the planet is going to be hit by the big one, but this ain’t it.  There are a handful of astronomers charting near earth asteroids, etc.  We need more people doing it.  My concern is this hysteria is going to divert funds from this terribly important job and put them into something that is a fool’s errand.  I could say something about one of the astronauts involved, but I won’t.  Locating asteroids is a very big deal.  Right now it isn’t the ones we know about that could send us the way of the dinosaur, it’s the one we missed.  That’s the whole problem. I seem to remember there is some new science going on with this, even a solar sail might work and be more cost effective.  From what I remember about this specific asteroid is the way it is going to interact with the gravitational pull of the sun, the orbit around the sun, and a second approach to earth. 

 

New Dallas JFK footage found and released.  It is quite sad.  Jackie looked so beautiful and so happy,  not knowing that in seconds her world would be shattered.  The placement of JFK’s jacket is interesting.

PRIMARIES 2008

I do hope Terry Michael is wrong.  He contends that Romney, because of his appearance, is a good bet to win.  Lord Help Us All!  Sometimes one wonders if the Dems aren’t counting their chickens before….there are those who want Bill to be appointed to fill President Hillary’s vacated Senate seat.  Aren’t we getting a little ahead of ourselves, boys?  Obama’s (the messiah) foreign policy.  US News profile of John Edwards, aka the Breck Boy. George Will on Ron Paul .It’s a good thing the Dems are not taking Bill Richardson seriously, because he could be the GOP’s worst nightmare.   Romney is now going to flip until he flops and clarify his positions.  I like the fact that Giuliani is not pandering to the religious right!  Mark Levine’s take on Giuliani is why I am sick and tired of “BIG C” conservatives thinking they are the be all and the end all.
