Cute Alert:  Last night when I was heading down to bed I was followed by the whole family except for Miss Piggy.  I looked at Mommy Cat and asked, “Where is Miss Piggy.”  (I swear the following is true)  Mommy Cat goes back up two flights of stairs and brings Miss Piggy down to my bedroom.  Speaking of the little Piggy, she is under my chair, playing with my skirt as I type.   LATER:  I rushed Georgie down to the “pediatrician” (the term “vet” implies “animal”) this evening.  He stayed open for her.  When he saw her, said he was glad I did not wait until tomorrow to take her down.  She’s in very bad shape, emaciated, not doing well.  He is concerned that there is something seriously wrong with her, and has basically warned me if there is, she won’t leave the hospital.  On the other hand, if it is stress, then we’re going to need some “therapy”.  He thinks she is way to thin just to be extremely stressed.  While I was there, I checked up on Bat Masterson.  According to Dr. Franklin, he is “One cool cat.”  He is reclining in his spa suite, slapping everyone with his healing paw.  Dr. Franklin thinks Bat has the potential to be a ‘great cat’.   His current suggestion for catching the birth father is go get a long handled fishing net.  Do you know how difficult it is to find a long handled (or short handled) fishing net in New Mexico?
