Once again I am having ISP problems, which is nothing new for Windstream Telecom.  They have had outages all weekend.  I have no earthly idea when it is going to go back on line so this is it boys and girls.  The kitties are doing well.  I am concerned about GeorgieW.  Miss Piggy is pouncing on Rumsfeld.  They are

definitely buddies.

 

MY VERY SHORT RANT FOR THE DAY

Over the weekend I started thinking about terror and radical Islam and wondering if maybe those of us in the blog world aren’t perhaps concentrating too much on it.  Then I watched Ollie North last night.  His version of Iraq is quite different from what you see on the MSM, including FOX.  Quite interesting, actually.  It was optimistic.  It further led me to thinking that Moslems are NOT the enemy.  Maybe we have been too quick to blame them.  Radical Islam is the enemy.  My adopted sister and her family are not.

 

The enemy is not only extremist, radical Islam, but extremist radical Conservativism, and extremist radical liberalism.  The enemy is ‘extreme’.  The MoveOn.org anti war minions are just as dangerous to our safety as are the out of control anti-immigration wonks propagated by John Tanton.  I really don’t see much of a difference.  All three are a danger to our nation and civilization.  When you also consider the fact that the radical white supremacist element has embraced the anti-Israel tactics of radical Islam, we are in serious trouble.  The radical white supremacist element cannot be separated from the staunch John Tanton promoted anti-immigration supporters.

 

STUFF

There are times when the Feds just have way too much time on their hands.  Take the seizure of antique gaming equipment from an antique store, well, they did.  

This is something everyone needs to read and be aware of, and start complaining about.  It is Human Right Watch’s report on male on male prisoner abuse – in the USA.  It will make you sick. If you think the Border Patrol two are the only men assaulted in prison, think again.

Australian Foreign Minister Alexander Downer  has joined the Aussie clamor against Obama.  What the PM said about Obama  I find it remarkable that no one is to criticize this man.  I think we are already seeing a serious character flaw.  Maybe the best way to deal with Obama is criticism, because he obviously lacks the character to handle it.   Read John Fund’s take on Hillary’s lock on the White House.  Hillary is no longer the liberal darling.  One of Edwards’ bloggers finally quits.  She should have been fired.  Damage done.   Giuliani on non-binding resolutions.

U.S. Marine & the Terrorist

A U.S. Marine squad was marching north of Faluijiah when they came upon an Iraqi terrorist, badly injured and unconscious. On the opposite side of the road was an American Marine in a similar but less serious state.  The Marine was conscious and alert and as first aid was given to both men, the squad leader asked the injured Marine what had happened.

The Marine reported, "I was heavily armed and moving north along the highway here, and coming south was a heavily armed insurgent. We saw each other and both took cover in the ditches along the road. "I yelled to him that Saddam Hussein is a miserable, lowlife scum bag, and he yelled back that Ted Kennedy is a good-for-nothing, fat, left wing liberal drunk." So I said that Osama Bin Ladin dresses and acts like a frigid, mean-spirited lesbian! He retaliated by yelling, Oh yeah? Well, so does Hillary Clinton!"
