Funny how days start out.  Maybe it was because I finally had a decent night’s sleep.  Maybe I’ve just finally spent so much time on the subject I’ve managed to put it all together.  But, I had one of those eureka moments.  I can now formally link Jarad Taylor, Stormfront, neo-Nazis, and their plan to infiltrate the GOP and their role in the whole anti-immigration mess.

 

Their political links include the American Nationalist Party (that’s Nazi), Pat Buchanan, and the CofCC, and Tancredo’s Team America PAC.  I REST MY CASE!   You might want to note the photo taken at a minuteman really.  Just follow the bouncing swastika!  I’m feeling quite smug right now.  That sickening feeling I would have when ever I uncovered this stuff has long since dissipated.  

 

Tonight will be a shorter post.  I have begun my Lent project a little early.  Get accustomed to seeing parts of it here for about 40 days and 40 nights.  I like Lent.  I think it is my favorite time of the whole Church year.  It’s a great time for a personal and spiritual attitude adjustment, and I think I need one this  year.

 

THE GREAT CAT SOAP OPERA

GeorgieW is still in the bat cave.  I discovered she could not get out because Rumsfeld pulled out so much carpet yesterday one of those tack boards was exposed.  It took me thirty minutes, a hammer, and a cute little power-saw to remove it.  Rums knew I was furious.  He jumped up and down trying to get my attention and hit his head on the bottom of the dining room table.  I informed his grandmother I would gladly sell him to the circus if they were anywhere around here today!  Miss Piggy has adapted quite well to life as the new ‘big’ kid on the block.  She is funny.  I think her mommy has dumped her down in my bedroom under the bed.  I probably need to go turn on a light for her.  Oh, last night the birth father demon cat was sitting in the window.  I thought, this is just too easy as I slowly walked over to open it and push  him out.  He moved.  I’m starting to feel like Bill Murray in Caddyshack!

 

 

 I am breaking my no Anna Niccole Smith pledge – this is just too good.  You know, even Carl Haissan at his best couldn’t make this dodo up  if he tried.

Yesterday, at the Pink Flamingo, I ran a post by a SC blogger about Ron Wilson. Well, today, Earp Capps, another excellent SC blogger brings word that Brian McCarthy has been threatened by neo-Nazis for his expose on Wilson. Make sure you read the comments, which are sick, and while much worse than the ones I received last week over my Blog Critics and my John Tanton expose,   Ah, yes, Wilson is a stalwart of the CofCc, which right there should set off alarm bells. Wilson is the former head of the Sons of Confederate Veterines.  Now….follow the bouncing ball.  Who appeared at a SCV affair last fall…Yep – our favorite anti-Hispanic racist, widdle Tommy Tancredo!     I don’t know about you, but I’m loving it.  For months I’ve been telling you these people are trying to infiltrate the GOP, but will anyone believe me, nnnoooo.

PRIMARIES 2008

Interesting profile of Michelle Obama.  Does Giuliani need CA as much as they think he does?  The way the NYTimes is after Giuliani, he must be doing something right!  Andrew Sullivan on the Times writing Rudy off a little too soon. So now Hil voted for the war before she voted against it.  Yep, a true representative of the Democratic Party!  Excellent heir apparent to the previous flip-flopping nominee.   Mark Margolis over at Red State is expressing shock and awe that The Daily Kos is calling him down for making comments about Obama.  I hate to mention this, but nothing is sacred, even Barack Obama!  Rudy formally announced today.  Giuliani's economic policies.  Right Wing Nuthouse on Obamamania!  The McCain-Romney murder-suicide has begun.  McCain draws first blood!  MoveOn.Org after Brownback.  Edwards in an Iowa nose-dive.  Rudy in CA.

  

If you want something that is indicative of the way things are going in SC, Romney did a “meet & greet” at Tuckers.  Tuckers is a vile, but attractive little restaurant, where the Anderson blue blood elite (laugh to the point of snorting) meet for a watering hole.  The food isn’t fit to eat, or wasn’t the last time I was in it about 4 years ago, but food isn’t what matters.  It’s the people stupid.  Evidently Anderson County is going to go for Romney.  This makes quite a bit of sense considering the fact that Ron Wilson is on the county council there.  (see yesterday’s Pink Flamingo) Anderson is backtracking back into some sort of CofCC based, Christian, Conservative GOP shiria.  It makes perfectly good sense to me, considering Lindsey is always considered a little too ‘liberal’ for Anderson.  They just don’t like him.  I see said the blind man.  What you are going to see is a battle for the heart and soul of the GOP in SC.  it was a battle that began in 1992 when the religious right took over the GOP and basically excommunicated anyone who did not go along with their version of Christianity and politics.  Heck, I was even asked not to return to a local Oconee County Presbyterian Church not long after I stepped down as County Chair.  My offence? I quoted Barry Goldwater, “Anyone who mixes religion and politics should go straight to hell!”  It became so hostile even my parents were no longer welcome.
