TUESDAY, DECEMBER 4
First things first – congrats to my editor and good friends, Mark & Harriett Dworkin on the birth of their first grandchild. They became grandparents of a little girl this morning. Harriett is going to have a blast! When I talked to her the other day, she said Rebekkah’s daughter told her she was right on schedule, for the 19th D-Day. Guess he was wrong.
Rumsfeld spent his birthday down in San Patricio with his cousins while I went to Roswell to Petco for his present. His grandmother bought him a long squeaky thing that he liked. I bought him a Bouda elephant (what else).
The Tiny Tyrant (AKA Miss Beverly Sills) is still eating everything in sight! I left her alone today, but she appeared to do fine. She’s having problems going up the stairs, obviously still to weak to make it up herself. She’s doing okay going down, though. She’s also starting to play a little (when she isn’t eating).
