VDARE IS A ‘NON PROFIT’!
Imagine that organizations that are related to white supremacists, neo-Nazis, and the KKK are legally non-profits. Take it a stretch farther – a number of the more extreme anti-immigrations are also non profit. These people, dealing with hate and extremism are doing so, literally, at our expense. I don’t know about you, but why should these groups, have the same privileges honorable organizations like the Metropolitan Opera, Smithsonian Institution, or Episcopal church have? “…Monday, December 31, is the last day you can give tax-deductible to VDARE.COM in fiscal 2007. We need the money. So it’s nerve-racking. But one of the heartening things about running these appeals is that we get wonderful supportive comments from readers. And some offer helpful advice. One reader says I should post a running tally of how much money has come in. Good idea. And I will do this next time. But it’s embarrassing, because donations can be slow—and somewhat misleading, because the larger donations tend to be checks that snail in late. Right now, since I started this appeal after Thanksgiving, we’ve got about $20,000 via PayPal. Some of that is earmarked for our Steve Sailer project. (Steve and his family need to eat, and National Review is too chicken touch him anymore, so that’s good). But what we desperately need are a few large donations—especially from those of you with capital gains, which we can shelter. (See below). Evidently even though it calls itself a PAC it is not registered with the FEC. If Can ALIPEC is not registered as a PAC can they legally do push polling in Iowa? Voice of the People, which also participated in the push poll in Iowa also has the same status. The other partner in the push poll, 9/11 Families for a Secure America maintains the same status.
