THE WTIMES SHOWS ITS TRUE COLORS (ALL LILLY WHITE)
Steve Sailer, a Vdare columnist and "expert" on genetics, etc. recently penned a hit piece on Barack Obam that has been featured in the WTimes.

“…Whether pro or con, white Americans are simply more interested in blacks than in Latinos. And, over the decades, white sentiment has grown increasingly favorable. Indeed, Mr. Obama has a plausible shot at riding strong early showings in virtually all-white Iowa and New Hampshire to the nomination. Of course, Mr. Obama is also a more intriguing personality than the mundane Mr. Richardson. The senator's 1995 autobiography, "Dreams from my Father," displays more artistic merit than perhaps any other book written by a recent presidential hopeful. Thus, the timing is perfect for Hoover Institution literary critic Shelby Steele's terse but remarkably insightful "A Bound Man." The horse-race forecast in the subtitle isn't what's important. Instead, the former English professor, who, like Mr. Obama, has a black father and a white mother, delivers an intimate and authoritative analysis of how the polite Mr. Obama appeals to white Democrats in the same fashion as Sidney Poitier, the gentlemanly 1960s movie star, and why black voters are less enthusiastic.

Many whites assume that the mixed-race and Hawaiian-born Mr. Obama is, in Mr. Steele's words, "indifferent to the whole business of race and identity." According to Mr. Steele, the author of 1990s acclaimed "The Content of Our Character," they see voting for Mr. Obama as proving that they personally aren't guilty of racism. Mr. Steele suggests that many whites hope electing Mr. Obama president will show blacks that white racism isn't what's holding them back anymore. Numerous white Democrats, I would add, view backing Mr. Obama as confirming their moral and cultural superiority over other whites (those redneck racists). Whites strive for status mostly against other whites, and conceive of minorities primarily as handy props in these intra-racial struggles….”

“…Editor Robert Stacy McCain was accused of racism in a 2002 New York Press column by Michelangelo Signorile that reported on McCain's criticism of Abraham Lincoln, pro-slavery sympathies toward the Confederacy in the Civil War and McCain's membership in the neo-Confederate organization League of the South, which the Southern Poverty Law Center called "rife with white supremacists and racist ideology." Columnist Samuel Francis, after speaking at a conference hosted by American Renaissance, a self-described "pro-white" group, was subsequently fired by editor-in-chief Wesley Pruden. Further up in the Washington Times management, Pruden himself has been described by former Times writer George Archibald as an "an unreconstructed Confederate" who "still believes the South and slavery were right". Archibald also confirmed and corroborated a report by The Nation that described "daily hands-on editor" Fran Coombs as a "raging racist who despises blacks, Jews, and Hispanic immigrants, and looks down on women...". Coombs' wife Marion subsequently confirmed charges of racism during an interviewed by The Nation's Max Blumenthal.

The recent storm of "racist" allegations against the Times management have been the subject of reports of a possible "smear campaign" in the context of an ongoing battle for control of the paper, including speculations that the charges are motivated by supporters of Sun Myung Moon and his efforts to install his son, Hyun Jin Moon as the new CEO at the paper. Reportedly, members of the current regime strongly oppose Rev. Moon attempts to put Huyn Jin Moon in control of the Times. The controversy was fueled when the Unification Church itself published the highly inflammatory "racist" charges of Max Blumenthal and George Archibald on it's "Words of Hyun Jin Moon" website.

YOU MUST BE TAUGHT TO HATE
In the Rogers & Hammerstein masterpiece, South Pacific, there’s a song, You’ve Got to Be Taught to Hate. It is so very true. People aren’t born hating. It is a learned trait, created by many reasons, some of them rational and logical, and other are not. For many years I hated the pedophile who molested me. I’ve since learned to forgive and let it go, but it is an example of a ‘normal’ kind of hate. But the kind of hate displayed by Steven Sailer, Vdare, Stormfront, John Tanton, and their associates is a different kind of hate. It is a sick, seething, filthy perversion of what is right and what is wrong.

It is a hate that is hidden, epidemic, and highly contagious. It masquerades as national security and patriotism. It sucks good people in, turning them into agents of something that can only be described as evil. It causes good people to embrace things they would never even consider before their eyes had been closed or their hearts hardened.

Unfortunately it is also a hate that allows very bad people to suddenly integrate themselves into the ranks of the decent and then corrupt the decent. Once this happens there are times when good is obscured and people simply accept the offerings of evil as acceptable.

The WTimes, owned by Sun Myung moon is becoming increasingly extreme in its rhetoric. The problem is in the fact that this has occurred slowly, over the years, to the point where good people accept what is presented as true. The WTimes pretends to be the nation’s “conservative” alternative, corrupting the word, theory, and good, decent conservatives along the way. It very slowly presents tainted versions of a story or an issue and because it is “conservative” it is accepted.

Case in point, the above piece of racist dribble by Steven Sailer. Do you know who Sailer is? He writes for Vdare, as does Michelle Malkin, who has at times defended his racist dribble. There is a fine line here. Sailer will say things that might hit a chord - then the unwitting reader is sucked into his strange little world. When you hear something that causes to cringe, there's a good reason.

Media Matters

“…Sailer also writes for the right-wing website VDARE.com -- which publishes the work of "white nationalists," in the words of the site's editor. In the report, Sailer said, "Hollywood's got to start getting on the boat. They've got to do some research, they've got to think about the fact that the whole world doesn't see the world the way they do, that they are off on this little island."

Alexander also omitted that, as Media Matters for America has noted, Sailer has written in defense of the Pioneer Fund, an organization designated a "hate group" by the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) for its support of the work of white supremacists, eugenicists, and others dedicated to proving the genetic superiority of certain races. Sailer additionally describes himself on his website as "founder of the Human Biodiversity Institute," which claims that it "promotes the study of biological differences among humans and their impact on society"; the SPLC has described the institute as a "neo-eugenics outfit."

In a December 11 VDARE.com column on Jews and Christmas, Sailer stated that "American Jews, those exemplars of successful assimilation now seem to be de-assimilating emotionally, becoming increasingly resentful, at this late date, of their fellow Americans for celebrating Christmas." He further quoted approvingly from a December 7 column by Burt Prelutsky on the conservative news website WorldNetDaily: "[T]he dirty little secret in America is that anti-Semitism is no longer a problem in society -- it's been replaced by a rampant anti-Christianity." Sailer further wrote that, like the Jews, African-Americans were also "de-assimilating," …”
