The photo-shopped Hillary Clinton photo has pushed me over the edge. I no longer care whose toes I step on, or who I insult. I’m tired of the way conservatives are behaving. They are disgusting. I am furious because I must defend Hillary Clinton. Let’s face it, if the same thing was done to Ann Coulter, Michelle Malkin or Laura Ingraham you would never hear the end of it. Let’s try for a little honor and intellectual honesty here.

THEY JUST GET WORSE
I keep thinking the out of control Group Think minions of the far right who march lock-step with their MSM blog leaders, who have sworn allegiance to miscellaneous celebs, pundits, and political leaders who are owned by the puppet masters of group think could get no worse. Obviously I am wrong. There is a wolf pack, coyote (using the Navajo connotation of coyote), Group Think, arrogant, spoiled, self-righteous mentality. We are RIGHT and everyone else is wrong. There is this devious almost pathological determination to steam-roll anyone who does not goose-step along with them. I am RIGHT and you are wrong. Not only am I RIGHT, but I am PERFECT RIGHT. I know better than you. I am RIGHT. I AM RIGHT. I AM RIGHT. Being RIGHT is all that matters. No longer does being fair, balanced, accurate, or factually correct matter. Being RIGHT is the new god of conservatives.   Morality no longer matters unless it is RIGHT. Honor no longer matters – just being RIGHT. Being RIGHT is the end that justifies any means as long as the result is RIGHT.   Being RIGHT makes it acceptable to lie, mislead, and participate in the worst canards and mendacity possible – as long as the participant is an acceptable member of the RIGHT.

to lie down and wallow with Nazis
to support a neo-Confederate over a decent man like Lindsey Graham

As long as you are RIGHT you can do just about anything.

DO THE HUCKABEE HUSTLE
For months we have seen the Far Right “Christians” demand a candidate of religious purity who could ride through the GOP field like the proverbial horseman of the Apocalypse, demanding, truth, justice, and the American Way, along with an end to all illegal immigration. Low and Behold the far right gets their PERFECT CANDIDATE. The problem is he’s a Gomer Pyle look alike from Hope, Arkansas, who has a smart-ass mouth, says what he thinks, and now they hate him. They hate him enough to destroy him, and take out his son along with him. Oh, and these adorable “Christian” conservatives who are demanding “Christian” purity have a candidate who actually preaches and lives what they want. Since that candidate has not been chosen by the conservative leaders on high, well, now he’s too Christian and anti Mormon.

LORD HAVE MERCY – you can’t have it both ways and remain intellectually viable for any length of time.

By golly and shazaam Gomer has made the more sophisticated RIGHT conservatives look like the fools that they are.   Why? Well, perhaps the CONSERVATIVE FIX for Mitt Romney has been in the works all along.   Shazaam, Gomer has turned the anti-immigration bigots on their ears, making them look like a bunch of idiotic slobbering fools.

Watch for more attacks on Mike Huckabee. Remember how Rush attacks my friend Lindsey and John McCain? Well, those kind of attacks are going to start happening to Huckabee who had dared to expose the anti-immigration bigoted conservatives for what they are.

THE RUDY FADE?
Rich Lowry’s Townhall column today started me thinking about this much lamented ‘Rudy Fade’. I think it is a conservative fantasy. They hate Giuliani. Let’s face the fact that far right, off the wall conservatives like Lowry absolutely hate Rudy Giuliani. I am coming to believe conservatives like Lowry and Matt Drudge will do just about anything to torpedo both Giuliani and John McCain. They are a far right, unreasonable conservative’s worst nightmare. They are both men of reason. Today’s conservative movement has absolutely no room for reason or logic. Such fantasies are things of the past.   Then RCP has a Lowry hit today.

“…Nationally, his numbers have been on slow downward slide since March. He was at 44-percent in an ABC News/Washington Post poll in February, and at 25-percent in the same poll last week. His lead over Mike Huckabee in the RealClearPolitics average of national polls is a mere two points. Hillary Clinton has a bigger lead over the second-place Barack Obama (30 points) in the latest ABC News/Washington Post poll than Giuliani has over the last-place Ron Paul (22 points)….”

I’ve seen some stupid comments, but this is one of the dumbest. EVERYONE with half a brain knows races tighten and there is more competition since March. I know a broadsided hit when I see one. And this is one.

Reading the TMP crunch of poll numbers in CA and FL is interesting. All is doom and gloom, but it is quite obvious Huckabee is bleeding numbers from Giuliani. How long this is going to last is anyone’s guess. Considering that Huckabee is now the conservative target, it won’t be long.After reading Flap, you realize just how disingenuous Rich Lowry is being on the poll numbers. You also need to read the Hotline blog about “when candidates attack” Now quite frankly, something stinks. Something conservative stinks.

DRUDGE’S DUPLICITY
Then check out Eyeon o8’s comment about another Drudge sucker punch on Huckabee. Ruffini has been stating for days that Romney is the one who is going to win. It goes back to what I’ve been saying for ages. I honestly believe the conservative fix for Romney is in.

MALKIN’S HATE
All you need to do is just surf Hot Air to discover how much the Malkin bunch is against Mike Huckabee. I found this column by Michelle Malkin buried in the Salem Oregon Statesman.

“…Trouble is, Huckabee has downright and longstanding contempt for his new bedfellows of convenience.
Just two years ago, Huckabee appeared before the open-borders Hispanic group, The League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC), preaching an open-door policy. According to the Arkansas News Bureau, Huckabee also criticized state legislation requiring proof of citizenship to register to vote and enhanced reporting of illegal aliens as un-Christian, un-American, irresponsible and anti-life -- not to mention "inflammatory," "race-baiting" and "demagoguery."

Just last year, Huckabee lambasted opponents of the bipartisan shamnesty bill providing a mass pardon to illegal aliens as "driven by racism or nativism." He called strict immigration enforcement -- the kind he now supports -- "sheer folly" in his campaign-timed book released earlier this year. He actively invited the Mexican government to establish a consulate in Arkansas -- giving its office a $1 per year special office space rate -- so that its foreign officials could start dispensing security-undermining matricula consular ID cards to illegal aliens for banking and employment purposes.

And he's not only for government in-state illegal alien discounts, he's for expanding them far beyond what the federal DREAM Act proposed. But now that he needs to establish his border control bona fides, Huckabee is all honey. "Frankly, Jim," he said to the Minuteman Project founder at a press conference in Iowa on Tuesday, "I've got to tell you there were times in the early days of the Minutemen I thought, 'What are these guys doing, what are they about?' I confess I owe you an apology."

It's Gilchrist and those who allow themselves to be snowed by Huckabee's cynical conversion who'll be sorry and deep in apology debt, I guarantee you. Huckabee showed his true colors at the Univision Spanish-language debate when he pandered to the crowd by lamenting "racial profiling" of immigrants -- while remaining silent about catch-and-release policies that fail to detain criminal aliens who go on to commit more heinous crimes because politically correct politicians and police chiefs are more concerned with being accused of "racial profiling" than protecting the public.

Huckabee isn't the only shameless border control cross-dresser in the GOP field, of course. Rudy "I supported sanctuary policies before I was against them, but my sanctuary policy wasn't really a sanctuary policy, anyway" Giuliani now quotes "the advice of a great man, Father Hesburgh, who said, 'We must close the back door of illegal immigration in order to preserve the front door of legal immigration.'"…:

Of course Lowry is just aping Hugh Hewitt, one of the most disgusting and despicable conservatives out there and nothing but a shill for Mitt Romney.

But given the depths to which McCain has had to sink to rekindle the flame, he would face Romney in a much weakened state. Indeed, it would be deeply ironic if McCain manages to weaken his good friend Rudy Giuliani in New Hampshire, only to be hand the nomination to Mitt Romney, his arch-nemesis. In this way, a vote for McCain in New Hampshire is a vote for Romney. So, unless Rudy manages to turn the election into a referendum on leadership-in-a-time-of-crisis in the next three weeks, at least how it stands now, say hello to Mitt Romney as our nominee….”

This is a pile of you know what and yet another perfect example of the intellectual depravity among the far, extreme, cry-baby Group Think right.

FAKE MORAL STANDARDS
Truly the right is unhinged. One of the far extreme right’s favorite things is to slam Giuliani about his love life, marriages, and relationship with current wife Judy before they were married. They don’t consider him “Moral” enough. I love these people and their collected amnesia. They seem to forget that their “god” Ronald Reagan was married to Nancy Davis on March 4, 1952. Daughter Patti was born on October 21, 1952. You do the math. Unless Patti Davis was premature, there was a little Giuliani style hankie-panky going on, enough to disqualify Ronald Reagan today if he were running for President.

THE NEW MCCAIN SC AD
Remember the days when GOP candidates would fight among themselves and the Dems? This harkens back to the good old days when the Dems and opponents were the enemy and conservatives were still reasonable. The Palmetto Scoop has the new McCain radio spot running in SC. From what I gather Harry Reid is fighting mad about it.

“…“While I understand that Senator McCain is doing everything he can to breathe life into his presidential campaign, these kinds of attacks – and his consistent support of a failed strategy that has kept our troops mired in an endless civil war – will only further undermine his credibility with voters,” Reid said in a statement. “Democrats have given the troops a pay raise, increased funding for veterans and most importantly have fought to give our soldiers what they deserve – a strategy for success. We will continue to challenge Bush Republicans like Senator McCain who push a failed war strategy that makes us less secure at home and weakens us abroad.” It’s not clear what about McCain’s advertisement Reid considers an “attack.” In April, Reid said:“I believe myself that the secretary of state, secretary of defense and – you have to make your own decisions as to what the president knows – this war is lost and the surge is not accomplishing anything as indicated by the extreme violence in Iraq yesterday.” [MATTHEW HAY BROWN - Baltimore Sun]…”

EXTREME CONGRESSIONAL RHETORIC
Malkin reports that Iowa GOP Steve King is endorsing Fred Thompson who will, King assures us, keep us safe from those nasty Mexicans who are out to destroy our culture.

Our southern border alone has 11,000 illegal border crossings a night. We catch and release illegal border crossers as many as 17 times before we adjudicate them. Internal domestic immigration law enforcement remains statistically nonexistent. Contempt for the Rule of Law is common for border jumpers, major corporations, national organizations and even funded by federal tax dollars. The American civilization, as we know it, will not survive another generation of deteriorating respect for the law. Because of vested interests in illegal labor, the critical mass of Americans is near the tipping point. Congress has no power to force the administration to enforce the law. The president must have the will. If he does not, our immigration policy will continue to be determined by the cumulative effect of millions of “willing travelers” from countries of their choosing. Illegal immigrants are setting our immigration policy every day by voting with their feet. They are in control, not American citizens. Our national sovereignty is at stake. We will not be the United States of America in fifty years if we do not control our borders.

For these reasons, I must have confidence that the next president will make informed originalist appointments to all of the federal courts. I have to believe he will reconstitute our national sovereignty by restoring the Rule of Law. Tom Tancredo deserves the greatest appreciation and admiration of the American people. Without Tancredo relentlessly pressing the issue first from the floor of Congress and then as a candidate for president, the American people would not have jammed the switchboards and blocked comprehensive amnesty. Tom is running for president to save our country from the impending disaster that I’ve described. The measure of his success is in the platforms of every Republican candidate and even in that of the Democrats. No candidate has had so profound an effect on any public policy of America. Every Republican has taken the no amnesty pledge and adopted a tough on illegal immigration stance. Tom Tancredo has been so successful that much his political capital has been co-opted by his opponents. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

John McCain is a great American who has served his country every day of his adult life. No one in the field can match his patriotism, sacrifice, or experience. McCain remains an active proponent of comprehensive amnesty which puts our national sovereignty at stake….”

INTIFADE? I DON’T THINK SO!
Blue Crab Blvd is ratcheting up the rhetoric by calling rock throwing youths on the Mexican side of the border throwing rocks at BP agents an Intifada. I think this sort of language is unfortunate and only leads to further confrontation.In retaliation, trigger happy BP agents are firing tear gas INTO MEXICO – a direct violation of all known international law – and harming innocent families.

“…SAN DIEGO - Border Patrol agents are firing tear gas and powerful pepper-spray weapons across the border into Mexico to repel what the agency says are an increasing number of attacks by assailants hurling rocks, bottles and bricks…."A neighbor shouted, 'Stop it! There are children living here," said Esther Arias Medina, 41, who on Wednesday fled her Tijuana, Mexico, shanty with her 3-week-old grandson after the infant began coughing from smoke that seeped through the walls.

A helmeted agent on the U.S. side said nothing as he stood with a rifle on top of a 10-foot border fence next to the three-room home that Arias shares with six others. "We don't deserve this," Arias said. "The people who live here don't throw rocks. Those are people who come from the outside, but we're paying the price." Witnesses in Arias' hardscrabble neighborhood described eight attacks since August that involved tear gas or pepper spray, some that forced residents to evacuate.

The Border Patrol says its agents have been attacked nearly 1,000 times during a one-year period.
The agency's top official in San Diego, Mike Fisher, said agents are taking action because Mexican authorities have been slow to respond. When an attack happens, he said, American authorities often wait hours for them to come, and help usually never arrives. "We have been taking steps to ensure that our agents are safe," Fisher said. Mexico's acting consul general in San Diego, Ricardo Pineda, has insisted that U.S. authorities stop firing onto Mexican soil. He met with Border Patrol officials last month after the agency fired tear gas into Mexico. The agency defended that counterattack, saying agents were being hit with a hail of ball bearings from slingshots in Mexico….”

NEVER FORGET
The Far RIGHT Group Think apostles of the puppet masters are not in control of their own agenda. They have sold out in order to perpetuate the legend of a Ronald Reagan who never existed. They must perpetuate a lie in order to assimilate willing and honorable disciples who only want a Norman Rockwell America that never really existed. They are now willing to do anything, to say anything, and to try anything necessary achieve their goals of a conservative agenda that even Ronald Reagan would reject.

I AM A REPUBLICAN! I will never allow myself to be called “A conservative” again. I am ashamed of conservatives and what they have done to the GOP. It is time for them to either open their eye and confess their transgressions or GET THE HELL OUT OF DODGE!
