MALKIN THREATENS GILCHRIST
Anti-immigration extremists are turning on Jim Gilchrist because of his endorsement of Mike Huckabee. It is going to be rather amusing to watch the feeding frenzy as these individuals, many of them known white supremacists who populate the SPLC's rogue's gallery of "hate" as they begin to devour one of their own. According to at least one source, the only reason Gilchrist even endorsed Huckabee, who is rapidly trying to pander to the anti-immigration extreme and make up for his "Christian" version of immigration reform, is because no one else would ask him. In a report just released by the questionable truthfulness of World Net Daily, Jim Gilchrist feeling the heat after having been devoured by the cannibalistic nature and extreme hate of the anti-immigration movement is now hedging his bets with Mike Huckabee, threatening Huckabee.
"..."Huckabee's plan would force all illegal immigrants to leave the United States within 120 days, or be arrested," Jim Gilchrist told WND in an exclusive interview. When asked why he thought illegal immigrants would voluntarily deport themselves, as Huckabee's plan requires, Gilchrist said, "If you start arresting illegal aliens and start take away all their social welfare benefits, the illegal aliens won't have a choice except to leave."mGilchrist further indicated illegals under Huckabee's proposal may have to wait years before they were allowed to re-enter. "The illegal immigrants will not be allowed back into the United States until they are legally allowed re-entry," he said, "even if that takes years." "Nothing I can find in Huckabee's plan indicates he is going to let the illegal immigrants back into the country the next day after they go home," Gilchrist continued. "The illegal aliens, once they are back home, will have to stand in line with everybody else and apply for legal entry at the end of the line." However, when pressed on how he'd react if Huckabee's plan turned out to provide for quick re-entry, Gilchrist ceased his praise. "If, in fact, there is no standing in line and waiting for legal entry, I would have a serious reservation about endorsing Huckabee," he said...."

"...It's Mr. Gilchrist and those who allow themselves to be snowed by Mr. Huckabee's cynical conversion who'll be sorry and deep in apology debt, I guarantee you. Mr. Huckabee showed his true colors at the Univision Spanish-language debate over the weekend when he pandered to the crowd by lamenting "racial profiling" of immigrants — while remaining silent about catch-and-release policies that fail to detain criminal aliens who go on to commit more heinous crimes because politically correct politicians and police chiefs are more concerned with being accused of "racial profiling" than protecting the public.
Mr. Huckabee isn't the only shameless border control cross-dresser in the GOP field, of course. Rudy "I supported sanctuary policies before I was against them, but my sanctuary policy wasn't really a sanctuary policy, anyway" Giuliani now quotes "the advice of a great man, Father Hesburgh, who said, 'We must close the back door of illegal immigration in order to preserve the front door of legal immigration."' In an interview with Washington Examiner reporter and author Bill Sammon, Mr. Giuliani now says he really, truly would have deported 400,000 illegal aliens in New York if he could have. Never mind that small matter of the lawsuit he brought against the feds to block them from enforcing immigration laws. Never mind that he was openly inviting illegal aliens into his open-borders safe harbors...."

While I never use WND for anything, this is just way too much fun.

"I have no trust or confidence Huckabee will help the Minutemen solve the problem we have organized to solve." Simcox pointed to Tancredo, Hunter and Ron Paul as "the candidates who have been true to the Minuteman movement for years."
"These three brought us to the dance and supported us all along," he said. "Those are the candidates our volunteers are out there working to elect, not Mike Huckabee." In a letter posted on the ALIPAC website, Gheen argues Huckabee's "Secure America Plan" is a warmed-over version of the "touchback" proposal advanced unsuccessfully by Rep. Mike Pence, R-Ind., in the 109th Congress. "Huckabee's new plan is nothing more than a 'shamnesty' proposal," Gheen wrote, "which grants amnesty to illegal aliens who sign up with the government and then leave the U.S. for a day or two and later on pick up new documents across the border to walk back in and say, 'Look at me!' I came in legally this time!" Gheen is also circulating a letter ALIPAC expects to publish Monday with some 100 signatures of border security activists and organizations. "We denounce Jim Gilchrist's solo endorsement of a pro-amnesty Open Borders candidate for President," Gheen's letter reads.
