THE CONSERVATIVE FIX

For some time I’ve been reporting Sun Myung’s Moon’s connections and near control of the conservative movement here in the US.
I have reason to believe the “conservative fix” is in on Mitt Romney.  After all, he appears to be the choice of Sun Myung Moon.  As I have reported earlier, there is a Sun Myung Moon connection to the Romney campaign.  Now, go back to several of the pieces I’ve been doing and you will see that Moon has ties to the Washington Times, Human Events, Regerny Press,  and the Heritage Foundation among many many other conservative organizations.   Seeing the Forest thinks that Romney has been taking donations that come from a Moonie Money scam. Romney’s faith and values committee has a “Moonie” plant as head of the steering committee. The WTimes (owned by Moon) puff piece on Romney.

Paul Weyrich endorses him.
Jeffrey Lord’s Opinion Journal’s piece on Romney’s ethics.
The American Conservative Union has endorsed Romney.
Hot Air’s Allah Pundit on yet another Frank Luntz dog and pony show manipulated to make Romney look the big winner of that (yawn) Iowa debate.

The National Review endorsement:
“…More than the other primary candidates, Romney has President Bush’s virtues and avoids his flaws. His moral positions, and his instincts on taxes and foreign policy, are the same. But he is less inclined to federal activism, less tolerant of overspending, better able to defend conservative positions in debate, and more likely to demand performance from his subordinates. A winning combination, by our lights. In this most fluid and unpredictable Republican field, we vote for Mitt Romney….”

Eye on 2008:
“…In other words, in a time that most conservatives think the war in Iraq and the broader War on Terror is the number one issue, National Review doesn’t discuss the issues and reverts to check boxes. What does that tell us about the conservative movement?..”

Then there is the big Drudge headline about Huckabee and the Dems, an obvious hit against Huckabee for Romney.  Everyone knows Drudge supports Romney and has been doing his best to skew things in Romney’s favor for months, including throwing very old headlines back at candidates the way he has done Huckabee this week. The Politico

If Romney is such a perfect conservative why won’t he refuse to consider taxing upper incomes?
