LAY OFF HILLARY
All of a sudden Hillary Clinton appears to be vulnerable. I’m still no sure if this is by her own design, if the media is smelling blood, or if the media is propping her up so she need not go through this during the general election next fall. I am leaning toward the latter. If her vulnerabilities are exposed now, they’re out, done, damage control in play. I have yet to figure out how this woman plays the victim so well, and so expertly. But, she does. She even has Republican women feeling sorry for her. The problem is men don’t understand how this could happen, but it has, and while she is in damage control mode, she knows how to work it.
If we are to be honest, I doubt if any one over the age of thirty does not have a story or an incident in her life where she was not set upon by her male colleagues who attacked like a pack of wolves. There is a latent sexism in men over that age of thirty that we think has been Phil Donahued or Alan Aldaed out, but it hasn’t. It’s subtle, hidden deep in the background, but it is there. Sometimes it appears as a slur, comparing an unattractive woman to a “cow” or a “dog”. It’s a typical male thing, but incredibly hurtful.
It surfaces in the way men network. After that big golf game, a female ad ex is completely handicapped while her male counterpart pitches his spiel in the locker room. Or it show up when the guys go to the local strip club for beer and business talk.
SPEAKING FROM EXPERIENCE
Politically it shows when they call you to set up punch and cookies for the big debate. You’re good at it. But, while you are making sure everyone is happy and comfortable, it is a handicap while the guys go talk business. You’re relegated to the status of a second class citizen. If you do not join in with the other woman as they do the ‘punch & cookie’ thing, you are a pariah. Our great conservative men may think there is nothing to this sympathizing with “the devil” but, trust me, there is.
WHAT I THINK OF HILLARY
I have a very low opinion of Hillary Clinton. It isn’t because she is so liberal she makes Marx look conservative. It isn’t because of Bill. I find Hillary Clinton loathsome because she cheated to get where she is. She road her husband’s coat-tails all the way to the White House as First Lady and now is still riding them as she goes for the Oval Office herself.
One of the things that makes me wonder if there isn’t this latent loathing on behalf of the feminists of the Left for this very same thing?
Hillary Clinton has the remarkable potential of being the female version of George McGovern.
Don’t take her out now, please.
I’m begging you.
Please wait until the primary season is over. Don’t unload both barrels until around October 1, 2008. Please, please, don’t harass her now. Don’t expose her shortcomings now. Let her sail along to her coronation, becoming more and more arrogant.
There’s nothing the American people dislike more than arrogance. When you add this latent sexism into the mix, why on earth would you even bother with going after her now? I want to see her squirm. I want to see her get into a debate with Rudy Giuliani and watch him take her to the cleaners.
Please, don’t deny me this one little bon.
So, guys, go easy on her for just 11 more months. If not, you are going to be building up such ill will with our blank brained dim-witted (I need to find a new word) “undecided” female voter that by the time October, 2008 comes along, we will be dealing with Saint Hillary and nothing you say or do will take her out.
Think with your brains for a change.
