(or) TRUST NO ONE?

Today while surfing around, looking for a topic to write about, I realized all the main “conservative” blogs are basically saying the same thing.  Why?  Just check out the top shelf blogs and you will see the same old same old.  Very few of them ever tackle an off-beat story or even bother straying beyond their stated dogma.  The new media is becoming old, staid, and just as monolithic as the ‘old media’.  What’s worse, they have an aura of vulnerable self-righteousness that, played just the right dose of puppy-dog eye syndrome, make them consider themselves invincible, omnipotent, omnificent, and all-knowing.  Liberal or conservative, it really doesn’t matter. They’re all the same.  And only a minority of them are actual writers or journalists, while they have the desire of a ‘digger’ there is rarely a desire to look beyond the party line and delve further into a topic.

How can you trust them?  The liberals have this Pollyanna view of the world, terror, the war, and Islam.  All we need to do is click our ruby slippers and we will be back in a Kansas where corn is as high as an elephant’s eye and picked by highly paid union members of the local collective.  Conservatives look at the same world and the sky is falling.  There’s no such thing as a good or honorable Muslim, and we’re all going to be killed in our beds by an invading horde of undocumented Mexicans who all have TB, are pregnant with anchor-babies, and are going to force us to speak Spanish or force a lobotomy on us all.

There are disclaimers against racism and bigotry.  No self-respecting liberal will be bigoted about anything but Christianity, and no self-respecting conservative would ever be bigoted about anything but Islam, Spanish-speaking migrants, and anyone who doesn’t agree with this is a pin-head.

Heaven forbid we cannot believe anything a liberal will write.  They’re all employed by George Soros who is involved in some vast left wing conspiracy to bring about the second coming of Clintonania.  We all know Soros is going to take over the world, kill all the Christians, and crown Hillary the Queen of the Damned. It doesn’t matter if a “Soros” front might be telling the truth.  It’s Soros.  It’s evil.  It’s perfectly acceptable for conservatives to quote chapter and verse from the Washington Times, Numbers USA, FAIR, and all those glorious conservative causes.  Doesn’t matter if they are owned and operated by the top cult leader in the western world.  It doesn’t matter of there is a Sun Myung based agenda.  It’s conservative.  Conservative = good and pure.  Liberal = dark and evil.

So conservative bloggers and organizations are uniting to protect the world from the evil of George Soros’ impure money and Hillary Clinton’s demons of liberal theology, conveniently ignoring the fact that the hedonistic marriage between Hillary Clinton and George Soros’ money was brought about by un-ending attacks from the far right fringe.  Unfortunately the far right fringe is now calling the shots for ‘the normal world’.   There is absolutely no difference between World Net Daily, News Max, or the Daily Kos.  They are both extreme.  Neither cares about the facts.

I had my eyes opened these past two weeks.  Just because a blogger makes claims of being ‘conservative’ does not give him or her honor or integrity.  Just because a blogger is in the top twenty of every list does not give him or her cause to pirate stories, walk all over someone who isn’t as important, then completely ignore that other person is not honor or integrity.  It just shows how abjectly little and pathetic they actually are.  I find ironic that “conservatives” are constantly reviling “liberals” who play fast and lose with sources, but they are doing the same thing. 

They’re really quite pathetic.
