NOW, WHAT ABOUT JOHN TANTON?
Imagine my surprise when I discovered that the august Little Green Footballs has finally discovered that "There be Nazis here!" It reminds me of The Lone Star Times. Welcome to the battle. You're late. Here at The Pink Flamingo and her sister site, The Subway Canaries, I've been writing about just that for well over a year and a half. The SPLC has been investigating the subject for years. Problem is since the SPLC is liberal and liberal = bad, we certainly can't have a legendary conservative blog admitting that liberals have been way ahead of the curve! Do I sound a little snarky? You bet I am. I've put up with you know what for 18 months while I played voice crying in the wilderness, with little assistance other than The Pondering American, who was hounded by these people so bad he was forced to stop blogging for months.

Check out this post of mine from the late, lamented GOP Progress. I had recently published an article on Blog Critics about John Tanton and his little Nazi associates. The CofCC attacked there at Blog Critics to the point where I once asked if I should remove the post because they were so nasty. At one point even Lou Dobbs joined the battle complaining about my remarks about his association with John Tanton. I backed him down, quickly.
I wrote:
"...Tanton affiliated organizations ballooned to include: NumbersUSA; ProEnglish; Social Contract Press; E Pluribus Unum; Emergency Committee on Puerto Rican Statehood and the Status of English in the United States; American Alliance for Rights and Responsibilities; Center for Immigration Studies; U. Inc.; Population/Environment Balance; Federation of American Immigration Reform (FAIR); Zero Population Growth; Northern Michigan Planned Parenthood; Great Lakes Public affairs Committee of Planned Parenthood; Californians for Population Stabilization; American Immigration Control Foundation (AICF); and Project USA. While a shell game exists for anyone trying to find actual membership numbers, the combined budgets of these organizations ranges well into the tens of millions of dollars.
Aside from the Pioneer Fund with it’s Nazi origins, Tanton based organizations receive millions of dollars in funding from The McConnell Foundation; Richard Mellon Scaife (Heritage Foundation), and the Shea Foundation which also helps fund the Council of Conservative Citizens, which works directly with such racist and white supremacist organizations as Stormfront and the KKK. As the funding links with these organizations grows, the vigor of anti-Hispanic rhetoric has also grown. Working directly with Tanton are known racists Barbara Coe (a close personal friend of Jim Gilchrist of the Minutemen); Wayne Lutton; Virginia Abernethy, who has direct ties to the KKK; and Brent Nelson who is the President of the Council of Conservative Citizens. Tanton Associates also include Glenn Spencer of the Tanton funded American Patrol; and Mark Weber one of the leading Holocaust denying ‘scholars’. Also associated with Tanton is former Klansman Don Black. ... FAIR is quoted by such credible conservatives as Michael Reagan, Bill O’Reilly, Rush Limbaugh, Michelle Malkin, and Sean Hannity. None have bothered to look below the surface and crunch the questionable numbers provided for them. Mark Krekorian, who is a frequent contributor at The National Review and a regular on any number of programs about illegal immigration is a an associate of Tanton and works for the Center for Immigration Studies. CNN’s Lou Dobbs is closely associated with Tanton, and constantly spews forth Tanton-based statistics about immigration, illegal immigration, and the Hispanic invasion. ..."
You might also want to check out my expose on Tom Tancredo and his association with John Tanton. Why? Well, my dear Little Green Footballs, it's like this - You can't do this by halves. If you are going to expose Ron Paul, Stormfront, the CofCC, David Duke, the Political Cesspool, and all their stinky little associates, you gotta go all the way. And, once you go all the way, you are going to face some very nasty facts:
1. Why is Malkin associated with Peter Brimelow and VDare?
2. Would there be an anti-immigration movement without John Tanton?
3. What about the Pioneer Fund?
4. Why is Tanton the most powerful person in the country?
5. Why are the anti-immigration groups in bed with the Neo-Nazis?
You guys are like so way behind the curve on this, it's going to take a lot of catching up. Maybe you should start with Joe Arpaio (one of your heros) and his little Nazi buddies in Maricopa County?
Do I sound a little snarky and bitter, you bet I am. Flap has been doing some good work on Ron Paul, but where have you been?
I am wondering what the next step is? Are you going to acknowledge that your staunch anti-immigration views have been manipulated by John Tanton, who is also associated with those nasty little Nazi types?
I doubt it.
