The Gateway Pundit has an extremely important post about the Dems plans to increase our oil dependency on the Middle East.  What a recipe for disaster.  Sometimes you wonder where their priorities are, because they certainly have nothing to do with protecting this nation.  In the Bullpen has more on this.  Basically the Dems want to end all oil drilling in the US.  What the you know what are they thinking?  I think it is time for absolute honesty here. Maybe they are right.  By the time the Dems are finished, Algore is going to get his wish.  Gas will be a five hundred bucks a barrel.  We'll be paying ten at the pump.  American people quit driving.  We quit burning fossil fuels.  The economy slows down to a depression and we put out out less green-house gases.  Okay, now I understand.  if they destroy our economy and our country they can save the enviroment.  How dumb could I have been.  We won't be able to support a military so the Islamic terrorists can just take over the country, there-by throwing us back into the Dark Ages where we will be doing nothing but huddling around a pitiful fire, killing dogs, beheading women, and buring our books, Bibles, DVDs and art.  But won't all that smoke cause pollution?

 

The saga continues:  Last night I heard two little kitties just crying, then Rumsfeld began barking.  That is never a good sign.  I went down to the guest room (nursery) where the babies were living, and Mommy cat had moved two of them over to the pet gate like she wanted them somewhere else.  We did not need another verse in Musical Kittens, so I took them back over to the antique bureau and pushed their little tushies under it.  They came back out, crying.  Mommy then goes up under the bed and just sits there relaxing and purring.  She was too lazy to move her own babies.  By this time there were three little ‘swimmers’ – what we’ve always called kittens who are at that stage of walking, looking for Mommy.  I push them up under the bed.  They find their lunch counter and nirvana was achieved.  I had to get down on the floor and pull the last baby out from under the bureau.  Have I mentioned my current inner ear problems?  Bending over is not fun, trust me.  I finally get the last sandy colored twin out and shoved up at the lunch counter.  Mommy cat was happy.  Babies were happy.  I was so dizzy I was nearly sick.  So now they are back up under the bed where they were birthed.  Bottom line, she is too lazy to move them herself which is a huge change from her first litter, where she would have fits and run away when anyone would go near them, let alone touch them.  I think she’s figured out it is easier to get a little help when raising babies, esp. since the no-good father doesn’t help!

REASON #2 I AM AGAINST DEATH PENALTY: So all those rumors about more information on the OKCity bombings are true.  Very interesting.  And now I can gloat say I rest my case about the death penalty.  Everyone was so quick to execute McVeigh they ignored the possibility that he could provide more information. 

 

They finally get around to accusing UN peacekeepers of rape, etc. in Sudan.  Guess that’s because we have a new guy in charge – Kofi is history!  (I hope to have first person accounts of the rape squads in Sudan by the end of the month.  I also have access to extraordinary, unpublished photos.  You will begin seeing a few of them by the end of the month).   Islamist fighters digging in on the Kenya-Somalia border.     And the poor terrorists who are ‘dug in’ in Mogadishu.  Militants in India have struck in Assam. I've been hearing rumblings that Israel is getting ready to sock it to Iran.  Read Hot Air on the subject.   And Fullosseous Flap's Dental Blog  has quite an update on the whole thing.  In the Bullpen has more.  WizBang has the bright red Drudge headling about Israel planning a Nuc strike on Iran.  I do home all of this is wrong.  My big problem is the fact that I think Olmert is a very foolish (opposite of wise) leader.  Strata has more on the subject.

THE SITUATION OF THE CHURCH IN IRAQ:  (It ain't good)
