SPRING TRAINING T minus 21 days!

 

I am doing a short posting today.  I’ve earned it.  Tomorrow everything will be back in full swing.  I’ve been in Roswell all day and have a few things I need to do this evening.  I’m tired.  I want a break.  I’m about ready to institute the 9PM rule – if it isn’t done by then, whatever is gets posted and I quit for the evening.  I work an average of 4 hours a day on this blasted thing and I need to cut back and start ‘writing’ again.

I still have four little kitties.  The big news of the day is of a more delicate nature.  For those readers who might be offended by bathroom talk, just deal with it.  Last night when I went to put the little guys to beddybye, I noticed a little ‘accident’ on the floor.  At six weeks, how bad can it be?  So I put it in their training litter box. This morning there was a matching clump!  VICTORY!  (sort of).  Allen Barra, author of an upcoming biography of the Great American Philosopher who shares the same last name, says the best way to ‘tame’ kittens is to make sure they hear human voices.  In other words, keep the telly on for awhile.  Naturally, as I am trying to raise responsible children, they listen to FOX News.  I think it helps, especially since other people rarely come into the condo.  It gives them different voices to hear.  The little calico and red tabby come up to me now, they don’t flinch.  I think this says they will be okay with humans.  We’re doing so-so with the sandy colored ones.  I was holding one of them this morning while I was putting on make up, which wasn’t easy, trust me.

My quickie commentary of the day is quite simple.  I think we are all missing the point about the Dems and the RIGHT right about Iraq.  It has nothing to do with Iraq and everything to do with abject hatred of George W. Bush.  Let’s be honest here, if it Democrat Jack Ass was president and in the same position as GWB the Dems would be doing everything in their power to support him.  We’d still be  hearing the same chicken-little stuff from the Buchanan end of the right, so they don’t count, right?  Right!  Let’s face it, if the enemy were the invading aliens from Independence Day, those Dems who survived the destruction of the major cities would be complaining about  how badly George W. Bush was handling the war, not because he was doing it badly but he is George W. Bush, the man who STOLE the Presidency from Algore. 

These people would literally do just about anything to destroy this man, even if they destroy the country in the process.  This brings to mind the fact that they are all wet on global warming.  Going back to another Dem, Robert Frost…

Fortunately we have a President who embodies my very favorite poem.  If you are unfamiliar with it, look it up.  It’s by Kipling.

I may be woman, hear me bitch, but I would much rather embody the qualities of the Kipling poem than the Frost poem.  Hate is a killer.  These people do nothing but hate.  Where and when does it end?

Right Wing News has the most convoluted poll of candidates I’ve ever seen.  You need to be a mathematical genius to understand it.  The other part of it is they invited a select group of 250 right of center bloggers.  I certainly hope this list isn’t indicative of what the RIGHT so desired in a presidential candidate, or we’re truly lost.

 Nolan Ryan hospitalized.Evidently he has been dealing with an illness for the past seven years.  I do not know the nature of the illness, but naturally Astro fans are quite upset.

Outside the Beltway is having a traffic jam.

This came from a friend today.  I do not know where he received it, but I think it could be important.  My friend has some interesting sources, which is all I am going to say about him.

U. S. presidential candidate, Barack Hussein Obama was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, to Barack Hussein Obama, Sr., a black Muslim from Nyangoma-Kogel, Kenya and Ann Dunham, a white atheist from Wichita, Kansas.  Obama's parents met at the University of Hawaii.  When Obama was two years old, his parents divorced. His father returned to Kenya.  His mother then married Lolo Soetoro, a radical Muslim from Indonesia. 

 

When Obama was 6 years old, the family relocated to Indonesia.  Obama attended a Muslim school in Jakarta.  He also spent two years in a Catholic school.  Obama takes great care to conceal the fact that he is a Muslim.  He is quick to point out that he was once a Muslim, but that he also attended Catholic school. 

 

Obama's political handlers are attempting to make it appear that Obama's introduction to Islam came via his father and that this influence was temporary at best.  In reality, the senior Obama returned to Kenya soon after the divorce and never again had any direct influence over his son's education.  Lolo Soetoro, the second husband of Obama's mother, Ann Dunham, introduced his stepson to Islam.  Osama was enrolled in a Wahabi school in Jakarta. 

Wahabism is the radical teaching that is followed by the Muslim terrorists who are now waging Jihad against the western world. 

 

Since it is politically expedient to be a Christian when seeking major public office in the United States, Barack Hussein Obama has joined the United Church of Christ in an attempt to downplay his Muslim background.  Let us all remain alert concerning Obama's expected presidential candidacy.

 

In poetic justice, the cretin who oversaw the destruction of the giant Buddha statues in Afghanistan was shot dead today.  There is justice, evidently.   

 

I told you impeachment wasn’t going to go away, even though the Dems promised they would refrain.  Does anyone actually believe the Dems?  (FYI Rosy wants GWB impeached).
