The first thing we need is a Hollywood face who is younger than my grandfather to help promote John McCain. We need a rock star. Conservatives need to start treating Hispanics with respect. They are our future, hard-line conservatives are (fortunately) a dying breed. The world is changing. Conservatives need to change. OR IS IT SOMETHING ELSE? Is Bob Barr’s Libertarian Party nomination the Kiss of Death for John McCain’s Presidential efforts or is the impact of his nomination greatly exaggerated? I’m beginning to wonder if it might just be the latter. In 2004, Libertarian candidate Michael Badnarik pulled in less than 400,000 nationally. Granted Badnarik was a poor candidate. That same year, Constitution Party candidate Michael Peroutka did a little less than 150,000 votes. Ralph Nader came in third with about 465,000 votes.
