For the past few days I've been listening to the usual conservative sources (as in "round up the usual sources") once again turn Lindsey into the demonic entity akin to the Black Death. This week Human Events is honoring Rush Limbaugh. Mark Levin has a Human Events column that can only be described as nothing but abject fawning, gushing, and outright worship. I am fully aware of Limbaugh’s good points. He is well known for his charitable work, and he donates a tremendous amount of money to very worth-while causes. He is one of the single largest donors to leukemia research. For that, I am personally grateful. I know it isn't nice to laugh at someone's misfortune. I don't like Laura Ingraham any more than I like Ann Coulter or any of the other precious little conservative "witches". I think she is one of those conservatives who is not Republican and has done great damage to the GOP. When I hear conservatives wax poetic against John McCain, and some conservatives who swear up and down they are anti-abortion and yet plan to vote for Barack Obama (I'm related to at least one) I mention two words: Stevens & Ginsburg. He won over Democrats for two reasons. First, Jimmy Carter, his opponent was the most incompetent and worst President in US history.
