ON of the great false-hoods of immigration reform is that it is a conservative entity. Nothing could be farther from the truth. Instead of having roots in conservative thought, it stems, instead, directly from Marxism. It is all about population control and eugenics, and is directly contrary to the very concept of the Republican Party. Part I of this series deals with the evolution of the individual, the role of the value of the one, to the devalue of the individual through collectivism. Through this collectivism came the modern liberal and through the modern ... more»
This week Human Events is honoring Rush Limbaugh. Mark Levin has a Human Events column that can only be described as nothing but abject fawning, gushing, and outright worship. I am fully aware of Limbaugh’s good points. He is well known for his charitable work, and he donates a tremendous amount of money to very worth-while causes. He is one of the single largest donors to leukemia research. For that, I am personally grateful. His donations may have been the tipping point in the medical research that is keeping my cousin Jim alive (and maybe even ... more»
Naturally we all want to be a Mary, because she's the goody-two-shoes (she was once a loose woman), but she was the one who would wax perfection at feet of Christ, never lifting her finger to help her sister Martha, who was trying to make everything perfect for Jesus when He visited Martha's home. Mary would just sit there, simper and sigh. She would get this radiant look on her face - don't you know the type? Everyone would think she was the devout one, the goodly one, the perfect ... more»
When is a conservative not a Republican? Are the one in the same? Or....can they be completely different party animals?
I have an article over on Right Pundits that is basically an edited version of one I posted on The Pink Flamingo last week. I am pointing it out simply because of the extreme way over the top comments by Ron Paul supporters who consider themselves the minion army of their savior, Ron Paul, who is going to be the GOP version of Barack Obama. If only the extreme, very evil, and very stupid Republicans would dump ... more»
Once again my blogging is
basically limited to the events here in Ruidoso. I spent several hours
around town taking more photographs. I've taken nearly 300 or
so. Tomorrow The Pink Flamingo will be back with a tale of
how the anti-immigration industry has conned good and decent
conservatives out of their minds.
I've been hearing
from friends all over the country. How bad is it?
Are all the roads closed? It must be terrible, with all that
flooding. How many people are homeless? Is it safe
to go out on the roads? Let's try the answers ... more»
Today I received an email from John Fry, asking me to take a look at his videos. I did. He is exactly what the GOP doctor ordered - an antidote to Obamassiah on Demand Videos.
I am having trackback problems. If I insert them manually they work. I can pick them up from link-fest and get yours in, but mine may not work. Blog Harbor insists it is a problem with Tucows. Evidently no one is using track-backs anymore and I am just out of touch. I've also been given the bad news that one of these days the blogware platform is going to crash. If I've not migrated to my WordPress platform, all is lost. I don't like WordPress. I have the URL and all of that mess, so it is ... more»
How long is it going to take for Republicans to figure out that they are REPUBLICANS FIRST and conservatives second? Let's face it, the reason the GOP looks so bad and the reasons our candidates have been on this wonderful losing spree is because they
were so darn busy pandering to hard line non Republican conservatives. There are any number of special interests out there who are conservative. I'm a "normal" conservative, but I am a Republican first. Maybe that's the term we need "normal" conservative as opposed to Reagan Revisionist Conservatives who wax poetic about ... more»
There are nearly a dozen candidates for the US Senate (some incumbents) have decided it might be better for their careers and election chances if they basically thumb their nose at the Republican Party that sustains them. They are considering not attending the GOP convention in Minneapolis. Evidently they are so terrified of the "Republican" brand that they are quaking in their boots about being identified as Republicans. It leads to the question: Why the H-E-Double-tooth-pick are they even running as Republicans? Why not just follow Bob Barr and don't let the door hit you in the ... more»
Three white small-town teenagers from Shenandoah Valley High School were charged with the beating death of Luis Ramirez. Two teens, Brandon J. Piekarsky, 16, and Colin J. Walsh, 17 were charged as as asults with homicide and ethnic intimidation during the July 12 attack. One of those charged with aggravated assault and ethnic intimidation, Derrick M. Donchak, age 18, was the local high school football team's quarterback last year. He is being held on $75,000 bail.

It is true confession time. While you may think I am this horrible "B_T_H", when it comes to gift giving, I am a total push-over. I'll be honest. I love giving presents. Nothing to me is more enjoyable than shopping for the perfect gift for someone, then presenting it in a perfectly wrapped package. It probably doesn't amount to much in this crazy mixed up world of ours, but to me it is a momentary sigh for a person. It is just a quickie little thing that says, "Someone thinks you are important."
NO TIME FOR SOLDIERS? "..."We have a severe case of Obama mania in this town, and in Germany, I think, in general people are waiting for the political redeemer. It's seven years of Bush that have made people right for a new face, for a change. People are willing to fall in love again with the United States."..."
Barack Obama had time in Afghanistan to shoot hoops with a selected group of soldiers. He had time to grandstand in Berlin. But, he DID NOT have time to visit our wounded Ramstein Air Force Base in Germany. None ... more»
Don’t get me wrong. If I were Danielle Bologna I would probably have already figured out a way to end my own life. The only thing that would keep me alive would be the fact that I had two other children. The woman is appearing on FOX, hysterical, crying, demanding an end to illegal immigration. She has refused to go back into the home she shared with her husband of nearly 3 decades. Grief is grief, but something isn't quite right here. The woman is playing to the media. When she goes on FOX, her make-up ... more»
First, we need to realize that John Edwards is (and probably still is) at the top of the VP list for Barack Obama. Considering the way the MSM is ignoring his little fun and game time with his little friend, the rumors of his selection might just be true. Thank goodness John Edwards is a Democrat. Instead of being reviled for his recent actions, he can now claim the "Kennedy-esque" mantle and thereby join the ever-growing list of Democrats who have profited by their little extra-marital activities.
Thirteen Reasons Not to Display a Child’s Photo on Your Blog
I’m not as much of a child hating grouch as people think I am. I am a photographer. I love taking photos of children. For reasons of liability and security I do not. I like doing studies of children’s faces. There is so much honesty in them. I do not do this. If I take photos, I use the parents’ camera and never download the photos into my own system. I never post children’s photos on my own blog. If I do, ... more»
HIS LIPS ARE MOVING "...“It is not going to be a political speech,” said a senior foreign policy adviser, who spoke to reporters on background. “When the president of the United States goes and gives a speech, it is not a political speech or a political rally. “But he is not president of the United States,” a reporter reminded the adviser...."

For those who are too young to remember, it was called The Monkey Business. Gary Hart's political ambitions were completely torpedoed, sunk, blown out of the water....etc. Well, proving my theory that history is indeed cyclical and Democrats never learn from experience, it has happened again.
I emailed one of The Pink Flamingo's readers earlier this evening that Obama is starting to believe his own press. When that happens, a person will soon be toast. The American people don't like arrogance or fakes. Barack Obama is a fake. Unfortunately he is getting 50% more media coverage than John McCain. When one considers how close the polls are, it makes you wonder how far ahead McCain would be if Obama were treated like McCain is being treated. Let's be honest here, the only reason Obama defeated Hillary is the fact that he ran ... more»
Early this morning a vicious and pre-meditated attack occurred. It was obviously premeditated. The victim was left shredded, shivering in fear and cowering in terror. In other words, Mommy Cat beat the you know what out of Rumsfeld. From his version of the story, Mommy Cat was then joined by Doc Holiday, who proceeded to claw and bite his fragile poodle flesh. The moment he could get away from them he came running back to bed and dove under his blankie and rolled up in a little fetal ball. Five minutes later he was running up and ... more»
Barack Obama isn't the brightest blub
on the Great White Way (a reference to Broadway). Perhaps the Las Vegas
Strip would be a better analogy. He's not firing on all
thrusters. He is magnificent on camera and with
the teleprompter. His speeches put him up there with the
'greats'. That's a given and as a supporter of John
McCain I am dealing with it. If this were Dan Quayle or any
other generic Republican, this would be wall to wall on the
media. Because it was uttered by the Obamassiah, well, it's
just another day and ... more»
In many ways the summer of 1969 was the most magical in my life. It changed my life, or rather formed the foundation for all that I am. It had nothing to do with sex, drugs, or rock and roll. It wasn’t about Woodstock, even though my parents and grandparents were actually in said town antiquing the weekend there-of. It was about scientific and engineering feats that captured our imagination. As a nation we held our heads high. My girlish fancies were captured by a ‘fairy tale’ young prince who was finally allowed to meet ... more»
If Luis Ramirez were an illegal immigrant who was part of a party of wild animals who beat a father to death, you would be hearing about it from Malkin and cover to cover on O'Reilly. Unfortunately, Luis Ramirez, an illegal immigrant is the man who died. He was brutally attacked and beaten to death by a group of high school football players in Shenandoah, Pennsylvania. They attacked him like a pack of wild animals, cursing him and telling him to to back to Mexico.
Evidently in Pennsylvania it is acceptable to murder illegal immigrants. According to the ... more»
There is this great and growing dishonest of the far right, embodied by such luminaries as Michelle Malkin, Patrick J. Buchanan, and Laura Ingraham. So, today Malkin is reporting that Republicans in the House are not donating to John McCain, as if they dislike him or something.
"...Looks like House Republicans are doing what a lot of grass-roots conservatives are doing–or rather not doing: Not giving John McCain cash. A divider, not a uniter? Via The Hill:..."
Malkin quotes from The Hill:
"...Few House Republicans have contributed to Sen. John McCain since he clinched the Republican nomination ... more»
It has occurred to me that if it weren't for the fact of the POTUS election this year, there would be absolutely no news. Is it boring, or is it me? Let's face it, it's boring. And frankly, I don't give a you know what about the new Batman movie. They lost me when Adam West was no longer Batman.

I know it isn't nice to laugh at someone's misfortune. I don't like Laura Ingraham any more than I like Ann Coulter or any of the other precious little conservative "witches". I think she is one of those conservatives who is not Republican and has done great damage to the GOP. I also don't mind admitting I think she was one of those responsible for the GOP's loss of the House and Senate in 2006. The thing is, the GOP isn't as bad as Ingraham, Limbaugh, and Hannity say it is. Let's just be honest and give them ... more»
