My day began at 6AM with a quickie blog post. I had to be at church for Altar Guild by 7AM. I left there at 9AM, rushed home, picked up Miss Beverly Sills, and carted her down to the vet. There was a little kid on it named Johnny Whitaker, who had a top record, Every Little Boy Should Be President. Is Hillary Clinton getting a bum deal from the press or is she (and he) her own worst enemy? It is quite obvious she is getting slammed by the press who continues to fawn over Barack Obama. Bill has not helped her. I still don’t know if he is doing it on purpose or because he truly wants her to lose. It is though the media has simply forgotten her existence. If John McCain were not challenging Obama on Iraq, I swear he would also be among the Forgotten Candidate.
I periodically report on the goings on over at ICE. I would be an idiot to say that all ICE agents were bad. They are not. But there are enough rotten apples in the bunch to make the others look bad. Two weeks ago my mother told me the Dems in Congress would seek to destroy Roger Clemens but let Barry Bonds get out of jail free, so to speak. I told her she was wrong. Unfortunately she is right.
I think we have established that Clemens is self-serving and no one really likes him. I don’t think he deserves this kind of treatment. A person is innocent until proven guilty. But when does this just start becoming a witch hunt?

A few of you may know that I’ve been on the Draft Palinbandwagon for quite some time. Seems others are now discovering her. Steve Maloney introduced me to her last fall. We’ve been having a bit of warm weather. Saturday morning birds woke me up – and I have a bird phobia. I think it was nearly 60 that day, but I stayed in all day – the wind was obscene. Today my friends (sorta sister) her husband and two daughters joined me at my parents’ in San Patricio for dinner. For those who are curious, it was my mother’s special spaghetti sauce, and was quite good. She also had fresh, organic leaf lettuce which was incredible.
