Early this morning, around 1AM Memphis time my niece was a passenger in a car that was broadsided head-on at an intersection. It flipped over and rolled, ending up on its roof. Laura’s leg went through the window, severing the femoral artery. By the time EMS arrived on scene she was in and out of consciousness. This evening after a long cooking session (nothing caught on fire or exploded, FYI) I sat down to start working on a couple of articles about Sarah Palin. My inbox was being accosted by requests for me to remove blogs from the I Vote the Elephant blogroll, to protest yours truly. First things first, I don't know what is the big deal about any blogroll.
