Once again the family kept me awake until early hours of the morning – try 4AM! This time I finally managed to separate Rumsfeld and Miss Beverly Sills. I put one on one side and one on the other, and held onto both of them. After awhile they quieted down and went to sleep – or else I did. Oh, Mommy Cat is VERY pregnant.
I don’t’ know which is worse, Barack Obama defending his racist minister, Jeremiah Wright or showing abject disrespect toward his white grandmother. It is time for honesty here. If Barack Obama were a Republican, he’d be buried under the Capitol by now, unless they weren’t running him out of Dodge on a rail. No Republican could ever get away with such associations. Somewhere in a storage unit in the bowels of Lincoln County is a box with a stack of old magazines I kept. Several of them were published while Clark’s Magnum Opus, 2001 A Space Odyssey, was in post-production. I will never forget Clark’s predictions and visions of the future. Among them was the fact that in 2001 women would still be wearing mini-skirts and boots. If NASA had not encountered Democratic budget cutters who believed in entitlements, handouts, and welfare instead of the future, we may have been on Clark’s schedule for 2001. As ... more»
I think there are times in the course of our nation that the hand of The Almighty reaches out and touches our psyche in an attempt to show us that we are endowed by Him with certain rights – Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness. Those rights were not easily won. They were bought and paid for by the lives of millions of brave men and women – all fighting for Liberty – Freedom.
