Is Barack Obama smart enough to have put this Perfect Storm of economic doom and gloom, voter fraud, and media hype together by himself?
Is he getting help?
Is The Pink Flamingo falling victim to base conspiracy theories?
Or..... Is something going on here? I just spoke to the printer who works with my publisher. I need to have 50 books shipped out to Tombstone, ASAP. The printer has expended has business to the point where he now has one of the most advanced printing/copying systems in the world, not just the country. He has put ... more»
The Pink Flamingo’s regular readers probably know that their humble blogger is a historian. While I specialize in the life of Wyatt Earp and Tombstone, one of my favorite topics is the history of ancient Rome. Consequently, I find this election absolutely fascinating in many ways. I’ve always said that history is cyclical – what goes around comes around. Historians of every ilk are saying that we are in one of those “moments” of time where we are standing at a cross-roads. This nation can go either way. We can either remain a Republic or deteriorate ... more»
I am not one who is given to conspiracy theories, aside from the gunman on the Grassy Knoll. But - after seeing some of the whacked out Obama things that are going on, I'm ready for a padded cell. I give up. I surrender. I have reached the point where I am beginning to join those ranks of people who think The One is up to no good. He's manipulating so many young people, washing their brand new brains, clean.
Isn't it amazing how the whole "Wall Street Meltdown" occurred so close to the election? A few weeks ago Barack Obama was being pounded on energy and oil production. Now, though, no one is even talking about it, even though gas prices are one of the things propelling the economic slow-down, not that you hear anyone talking about it. It's the economy, stupid and all about Barack Obama. The MSM is helping the Dems pound the GOP to the point where the Dems, terribly behind in the fundraising and Obama sure isn't helping 'em, ... more»
WHO LET THE IDIOTS OUT? Ask not what you can do for your country, but what Barack Obama can do for you!
Have you ever seen the movie What About Bob? At one portion "Bob" played by Bill Murry, reaches a point where he has a tantrum. "I want I want, I need I need." Nothing illustrates the liberal, Democratic, and many undecided voters better that than the statement "I want I want, I need I need."
Once upon a time John F. Kennedy once said, "Ask not what your country can do for you, but ... more»
"...Men who will do anything to win will end up doing nothing good at all. In college, it seems, Obama heard and spoke the word "power" as normal people would speak or hear the words "soul" or "honor" or "God." Power, alone, counts to him. He will do anything to win power, and men who will do anything to win power will do anything at all...." Bruce Walker, American Thinker
I'm beginning to it really doesn't matter what Barack Obama does. He is charmed, having made what I perceive to be a Faustian deal with the ... more»
The McCain campaign is finally going to take out Barack Obama (or are they)? The Politico informs us that Barack Obama is going to go on the offensive to take out John McCain's offensive against Barack Obama.
"...McCain officials told Politico that the new offensive is likely to focus on Rezko and Ayers. The officials said the campaign will not bring up the Rev. Jeremiah Wright, Obama’s former pastor, because McCain has forbade them from using that as a weapon. Without being specific, the officials said outside groups may focus on Wright.
Did you notice how, in the VP debate, the Democratic nominee for VP and his assisting moderator tried to suck Sarah Palin into the Great Health Care Debate? I wondered why, and now I know. The One was getting ready to start his week of health care in crises!
The One is now going to solve the problems of the health industry by instigating universal health care. It really doesn't matter who pays for it. It really doesn't matter if you receive care or lose your insurance. As long as your are "the folks" ... more»
Are you feeling depressed? Are you down in the dumps? Do you feel
abused by the economy? Do you feel abused by Barack Obama and the
Democrats? Are you starting to fall into the trap that we're losing? First, go read AJ Strata's post on the subject, then go shopping. John Fund has a piece about Sarah Palin calling her the Happy Warrioress. George Archibald has an interesting take on things.
"...Yet it was a rude awakening for me that many years ago how people aligned with the liberal-left worked to besmirch those they disagreed with, and ... more»
One thing about Barack Obama, he is as predictable as the annoying winds that slam New Mexico from the first of October until May. You know it's coming, you know when, and you know where. You just don't know how hard it will blow and the final damage. That's Barack Obama's kind of change. So, he's changing tactics (not) and slamming Sarah Palin, okay it's his lapdogs in the MSM who are doing it for him. Remember how, when things looked their darkest for him in the Democratic primaries, that he began slamming the Clintons ... more»
Are you as
annoyed, disheartened, and bi-polar about this election as I am
becoming? One minute I think there is some hope, and am
bouncing off the walls as I tinker with the polling numbers.
The next minute reality sets in and I realize we are in deep
dodo. We hear from Newsbusters that the big fix is
in with the MSM. The campaign is
dead. Long live The One.
McCain is not
fighting! These two links basically say it all. The McCain
Campaign is dead and McCain is not fighting. No, I don't
think ... more»
Sarah Palin went on the offensive against Barack Obama! Finally someone in the GOP is going to stop tip-toeing around and do something. All I know is I'm getting sick and tired of all this honor and let's fight this the old fashioned way. We're up against a community organizer who basically sold his soul to the theory of anything goes and the highest bidder for power. He and his associates will do anything, any way, no matter what, to win.
We're dealing with a GOP nominee who is a man of Honor. I sometimes wonder ... more»
It's too bad Bill O'Reilly doesn't have the integrity of a Michael Medved. Today on Medved's radio show, he hammered Joe Biden on the LIES Biden told during the debate. O'Reilly who claims to be fair and balanced spoke about Sarah Palin like she was little more than a trained flying monkey. Granted she wears Fonkie Monkey shoes, but that is no indication she's the semian in question.
Medved calls it like he sees it calling some of Biden's comments in the debate a stinking, vicious, foul lie. "Biden sucked wind." "How can decent people ... more»
I've just realized something. Have you heard much about Troopergate these past 10 days or so? Neither have I. Suddenly, though, now that Sarah Palin has proved people like Adam Brickley, Stephen Maloney, and your humble blogger right, low and behold, the AP socks us with a Troopergate story! When the Obama Campaign and its lapdogs in the MSM thought McCain was on the ropes, we saw and heard nothing about Troopergate. Now that Palin proved that she is The One who is the Second Coming...of Reagan, we hear about Troopergate.
Now, when John McCain defends Sarah Palin he is called "irritable and sarcastic". You be the judge. I guess he is "irritating" because he basically undermines the abject lack of experience The One has. But, because he is defending Sarah Palin in an increasingly liberal state, he's "irritable and sarcastic. The only acceptable way to approach Sarah Palin is like the SNL attacks that could one day ruin her entire reputation and future the way they have done some individuals such as the late Tom Synder.
Oh, did you know Sarah Palin is an outright liar? Yep, ... more»
Any person with half a brain knows where and who the problem is with this whole Fannie/Freddie mess. The problem is the additional mess that has been created by the Dems trying to sandbag John McCain and a few cowardly conservatives who quake every time the blast fax machine revs up spitting out hundreds of form letters. I am not wise enough to know who is right and who is wrong here when it comes to the bail-out. I do know I find it it rather suspicious that everything came to a head when it came to a ... more»
