I’m not a fan of Judicial Watch. I think it is a crock. As if to prove my point, that my theory that certain conservatives are going to do all they can to ruin the man, Judicial Watch pops up and files a FEC Complaint against John McCain.

One of the great third party narcissists, Chuck Baldwin, pulled off something of a coup this weekend and is now the Constitution Party’s nominee for POTUS. This is excellent news for John McCain because it is the very worst thing that could happen to Bob Barr’s proposed Libertarian Ego Fest. This could be the best of all possible solutions to the whole "Third Party" threat of any of these yahoos. These twerps are going to cancel one another's votes. Chertoff Lied About BLM Report on Border Fence

FENCE WOULD CAUSE MAJOR DAMAGE
Demands are finally being made to force Michael Chertoff to either resign or be removed from his position as the Secretary of Homeland Security. It is possible the man has a track record of not telling the truth. Last September BLM officials informed Michael Chertoff that the proposed border fence would cause irreparable damage to the fragile San Pedro aquifer and the Riparian sanctuary. Evidently Chertoff LIED about the information the BLM gave to him and just went on as planned, ignoring the Constitution of the US.

I don’t like Rasmussen. I think his polls are a crock. We hear how badly the President is in the polls, but look at the particulars tat have him around 34%.

My friend Maggie has a brother who lives in Juarez, married to a woman whose family has lived there for many years. They had a very good life up until the past few years. The problem with all the anti-immigration hype is the fact that Mexico has many social classes have been completely obscured. Once upon a time, life in Juarez was good.

I’ve been collecting links about financing and John McCain’s funding problems. There are times when I like to do this and see what develops. I think most of my regular Pink Flamingo readers know I am not much of a friend of “conservative” bloggers, not the ‘top shelf” ones anyway. I find them to be arrogant, hypocritical, anti-Republican, self-serving individuals who are not interested in promoting the Republican Party. While I am conservative, with my values having not changed since the days of Reagan (save for my disapproval of the death penalty because of my very strong pro-life beliefs) I absolutely refuse to be lumped in with these people. NASA SUFFERS
The quest for space, both by NASA and private enterprise is the MOST IMPORTANT part of the future of humanity. Barack Obama, who plans to cut NASA back to nothing and basically eliminate manned exploration of space. This said, and in an effort to be fair, I am extremely disappointed with the NASA budget the White House delivered. I blame the far from satisfactory budgetary increases on conservatives who insist on cutting back on just about everything but their precious little pet projects.
