Windstream Telecom Is Incompetent!

 I think the title says it all. I’ve discovered I AM NOT THE PROBLEM. My DSL goes off periodically requiring a complete re-start, just about every hour on the hour. It’s not my Ethernet cable. It isn’t my NEW Airport-Extreme. It’s NOT ME. The problem is with Windstream Telecom. I don’t know if it was part of that chain reaction that took down quite a bit of the East Coast yesterday or not. This morning, when I struggled to wake up for my 7AM Altar Guild call, I saw a Fox interview with Dawn Wells (Mary Ann) who was reported to have been busted with pot, etc. You might want to catch the video of the interview. She was accused of having pot in her car, and the accusation has seriously injured the good things that she does. Eventually someone confessed to having the pot, and she was completely exonerated. As things heat up on the immigration scene and demands for whole-sale deportation increase, bad things happen. ICE is an agency that is out of control. They have no regard for the Constitution which applies to Illegals, as well as those who are here legally. A few quick examples are below. ANOTHER ATTACK ON CATS
Ferdy the Cat evidently is furious with Boulder, Colorado. Yesterday we had the story of the Iowa town that is going to execute stray cats. Boulder is one-upping them. They now want all cats to stay indoors. Mine wouldn't be caught dead outside, but that's beside the point. Evidently, according to Ferdy, Boulder officials don't like the way cats are killing innocent animals and birds.

The latest update has the guy somewhere near where I live. That's not good. That's also why a good half dozen choppers are in a circle pattern around here.

From ML of the Catblogsphere comes a horrible story that makes one think of China and the great Olympic cat round-up for killing in the death camps. (Miss Blue Eyes) Evidently the "good" people of Randolph, Iowa don't know much about cats. Currently, of the 5 cats who allow me to reside with them, only on is wearing a collar. She is the first cat I've ever had who wears a collar.

Is a shooting war on the horizon between Columbia and Venezuela & Ecuador? It seems to me we may not be paying enough attention to what is going on between the three countries. I grew up in a horrible little community in South Carolina called Fair Play. No, it wasn’t that horrible, but I resented the move my parents made (worst thing parents ever did). It received its name because until fairly recent times, it was borderland between South Carolina and Georgia. Because boxing was illegal in both states, they would go along the state line and engage in the manly sport of fisticuffs. They went there for “fair play”, thus the name.
