WHEN CONSERVATIVES GO REALLY BAD
"...The Holocaust was not a cause of the war, but a consequence of the war. No war, no Holocaust...."
Pat Buchanan's latest Townhall column has been quite revealing, proving what I've been saying for at least two years. He is basically proving himself to be an apologist for the Nazis. Has he finally committed the unpardonable sin?
"...That Hitler was a rabid anti-Semite is undeniable. "Mein Kampf" is saturated in anti-Semitism. The Nuremberg Laws confirm it. But for the six years before Britain declared war, there was no Holocaust, and for two ... more »

DOES THE STUPIDITY EVER END?
We are being treated to the usual hysterical Henny-Penny crocodile tears about the sky falling. There is weeping, wailing, and gnashing of teeth. The world as we know it is coming to an end. John McCain, that durn Republican, met with Hispanics. Can you believe it. John McCain had the audacity to meet with Hispanics! Those nasty Hispanics...they do it every time.
"..."He's one John McCain in front of white Republicans. And he's a different John McCain in front of Hispanics," Rosanna Pulido, a Latina who heads the Illinois Minuteman Project, told the ... more »

DO WE REALLY KNOW?
A four part series on a few theories about the coming election are located below. It did not start out that way, but that’s how I’ve posted it. I am throwing in a number of trackbacks in the introduction. Some may belong elsewhere in the article. It is possible we are seeing some major changes in not only the GOP, but the Democratic Party. We could also be seeing changes in the Libertarian and Constitution Parties. Frankly, I don’t think the latter parties have enough members to make a difference, but there are some conservatives who ... more »

OUT OF TOUCH CONSERVATIVES
What do we really know? Hard line anti-immigration “reform” is a loser for the GOP. Last night Lindsey basically slaughtered hard-line CofCC racist Buddy Witherspoon. There are indications that additional hard-liners went down in SC, but I don’t know enough about the races yet to make a blanket statement. What I do know is it appears (and I say appears) that hard line conservatives in SC in the state house and senate did not fare as well as was expected. This makes the latest Jim DeMint move a little puzzling. He is forming a PAC ... more »

ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST
Please pardon me while I gloat a bit. Racist Buddy Witherspoon, went down in flames this evening in his challenge to unseat Lindsey. Unfortunately, people don’t understand how well Lindsey is liked in South Carolina. While a few sore-heads complain about his immigration stance, they don’t speak for the rank and file Republican in SC.
From The State:
“…It was a vindication compared to his reception a year ago at the state GOP convention, when the crowd booed and shouted "No" at Graham's explanations of the immigration bill. He became the butt of criticism ... more »

NOTHING CIVIL ABOUT IT
If New Mexico is anything like the rest of the country (not that we ever are) there is a very real problem in the Republican Party. The same thing is going on in Arizona, where the hard-line extremists are battling for the heart and soul of the state’s GOP. (I’m linking to the Feather Bastard’s search page on Russell Pearce – no relation to Steve. That should be enuf said about Arizona and the problems there). NOT CONSERVATIVE ENOUGH
The battle began several weeks ago when the GOP Chairman of Chavez County (Roswell) warned several ... more »
