It must be terribly frustrating for a Democrat in South Carolina who is trying to take on Lindsey Graham. Of course, turn-about is fair play. I spent most of my life watching politics in South Carolina, and the futility of a Republican even bothering to challenge the misc. entrenched Third District Congressman - then Lindsey was elected. It was really quite strange, in a wonderful way. As Lindsey's Oconee County GOP Chairperson I watched as life-long Democrats switched parties to vote for him in a very hard-fought primary. People who never planned to ever ... more»
Obnoxious 9/11 Truther Alex Jones got the best of Michelle Malkin. He is a loud, vile individual, who reminds me of a cur dog who needs to have its barker removed. This said, Mz Malkin, in search of a headline and a story, became the story, her little self when Jones and his tawdry bunch of associates recognized her. As much as I dislike Michelle Malkin and thing that some of Jones’ accusations had a ring of truth about them, no one, needs to be treated the way she was.
Do you really want a Republican President who is so beholdin' to special interests and so weak, when ultra conservatives wave their little pinkie he jumps in terror? Evidently this is what the likes of Malkin, Ingraham, Limbaugh, and the little tyrannical twits of the right want from John McCain. Joseph Farrah of World Net Daily has gone so far with his little temper tantrum as to commission a poll about it. If you look at the poll, it is amazing how unfairly Farrah plays to prove his nasty little point, but then no ... more»
Jesus left that place and went away to the district of Tyre and Sidon. Just then a Canaanite woman from that region came out and started shouting, ‘Have mercy on me, Lord, Son of David; my daughter is tormented by a demon.’ But he did not answer her at all. And his disciples came and urged him, saying, ‘Send her away, for she keeps shouting after us.’ He answered, ‘I was sent only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.’ But she came and knelt before him, saying, ‘Lord, help me.’ He answered, ... more»
There are still anti-immigration conservatives who are blaming Luis Ramirez for being here in the US illegally. That's the real reason he was murdered. He forced a handful of innocent high school football heroes to kill him because he was an illegal immigrant. It's like the rape case of Cheryl Araujo. She was asking for it.
"...On March 6, 1983, after putting her two daughters to sleep following the older daughter's third birthday party, Araujo left her home to buy cigarettes. The store she usually purchased from was closed, so she stopped at Big Dan's ... more»
A well known conspiracy-theory writer, Michael Piper Collinstook offense to a piece I wrote about Jerome Corsi. I cited and did a copy/paste of an SPLC entry about Jerome Corsi appearing on The Political Cesspool. The paragraphs I cited are below:
"...Perhaps Corsi’s most telling appearance, however, has been on The Political Cesspool, an overtly racist, anti-Semitic radio show hosted by self-avowed white nationalist James Edwards. Corsi was interviewed on the Cesspool on July 20 and is scheduled to appear again this Sunday, August 17, joining a recent guest roster that has included Christian Identity pastor ... more»
Barack Obama's camp is getting a little nervous. They are working to submit yet another new slogan. John McCain is hammering him. He needs to be concentrating on Barack Obama, not answering questions about Conservatives Gone Wild. My previous post features a round up of the goings on with Jerome Corsi and his little book about Barack Obama. He is one of the problem conservatives. These people seem to have slipped a cog somewhere and are no longer residing, not just in the 'real world' but the same planet as the rest of us. They don't ... more»
Jerome Corsi is once again being feted through the conservative world with his new "expose" on Barack Obama. He is a blessing to the conservative cause. He is helping win the war against Obama, right? He may be "right" but he sure the heck isn't Republican. Jerome Corsi is another one of those conservative fakes. Have you seen anywhere on the "conservative" media or FOX where Corsi is exposed as something other than Republican?
No.
Why?
Well, everyone needs to believe the cannard that ALL CONSERVATIVES ARE REPUBLICAN. They are not. The conservatives who do the worst damage ... more»
Imagine being in a system where you are assigned an upper bunk, but are dying from cancer, and need to be assisted to get up and down three times a day for a head count. Imagine not being allowed to have pain killers for the cancer that had invaded your spine because you were too sick to go stand in line for them to be given to you. Imagine losing well over 100 pounds, going for help and being told you were faking. Imagine not being able to talk to your lawyer because you were too ... more»
For the past few days I've been listening to the usual conservative sources (as in "round up the usual sources") once again turn Lindsey into the demonic entity akin to the Black Death. They are also trying to promote the idea that Lindsey has turned on John McCain. I know Lindsey. The other day I read something in the fine print about promoting nuclear energy. Anyone who knows Lindsey, South Carolina and Nuclear Energy knows the game's afoot.
Not only have they introduced a halfway decent energy proposal, but Lindsey has turned into "bad ... more»
The only people who are being fooled by the anti-McCain dregs of the GOP in Maricopa County are some our good conservatives who will follow anything that calls itself conservative, even if it has the rank odor of a rotting corpse. It's one thing to go after the GOP if you are a Democrat, simply on nasty politics, that's the name of the game. When conservatives who have made their home in the GOP like a bunch of maggots they are give the party a bad name, it's time to clean house.
If you look at the Electoral Vote Count for Sunday, August 10, things give Barack Obama a 53 point lead. If it weren't for the blue of Nevada, New Mexico and Colorado things would look rather well for the GOP, in fly-over country. It is as though there are two different countries. I'm still not all that certain we are going to lose Virginia. Nevada and Colorado are interesting. Nevada hasn't had a good poll in a month. New Mexico is listed blue but will end up going red. Let's face it, in order for John ... more»
Are anti-immigration hard-liners even self-aware? Do they realize what a mockery they are making of the Constitution and Bill of Rights let alone themselves? So they want all the illegals who are doing “jobs no one wants to do” deported. Allegedly there are no jobs American’s don’t want to do, ergo we don't need immigrants, legal or illegal. Conservatives cheered when the evil illegal Hispanic immigrants were rounded-up like cattle and treated to sub-human and completely unconstitutional activities. After all, they are evil Hispanics. Right.
There are more than a few of us who have been waiting for FAIR to finally take a mis-step. Maybe they have and maybe they haven't. In a recent press release, The Federation for American Immigration Reform is now calling on the prosecution of a member of Congress for saying something FAIR doesn't like. (From the Stein Report).
Once upon a time the United States was a Republic. We had a little piece of paper called the Bill of Rights. We had a Constitution and specific amendments to said Constitution. We cherished ... more»
We are now learning that just everyone wants a Russell Pearce (friend and lover of Neo-Nazis everywhere) yard sign. Don't you, I know I sure can't wait, even though there is a waiting list. Evidently they are lining up in Maricopa County to get their little friends of the Nazis signs. Isn't that special?
Did you know if you practice your right to freedom of protest in Maricopa County and go against the good Sheriff Joe (Arizona's own answer to the Sheriff of Notthingham) you are subject to harassment (to say the least). It doesn't ... more»
I've been writing about Arizona Republican Russell Pearce and his little Nazi friends for ages. Why do Republicans in Maricopa County keep electing a person like Pearce? But then, why the heck do they keep re-electing someone like Joe Arpaio? We complain about liberals, and make fun of the Dems for their problems, but if we are going to (rightly) expose Barack Obama's questionable associates, then we must be willing to do the same thing within the GOP. I think Arizona is the perfect place to begin, considering how these yahoos are doing their best to ... more»
Have you ever felt like you’ve duped or played for a
fool? What about that old adage, fool me once, shame on you,
fool me twice, shame on me? Well, conservatives have been
played for fools, there is no other way to put it, by extreme
environmentalists and anti-capitalist liberals determined to limit the
population of the United States in order to save the planet.
The very real problem is conservatives
have done such a good job of damning ALL liberal organizations that the
honorable ones are thrown out with the scurrilous ones. And, ... more»
