According to the LATimes blog, one of Romney’s sons (Jack ) said Mitt is tanned, rested, and ready, and may rejoin the race if as a VP or if something happens to McCain’s campaign.

Here at The Pink Flamingo, I’ve never been shy about dealing with subjects that other more important blogs might hesitate to tackle. I guess the reason is I just don’t care. I’m going to say what I think and what I see as provable fact which isn’t necessarily “truth” – which is a variable. Harold Hutchinson picked up on something from last night’s Dem debate. (acid indigestion, probably). Today the Palmetto Scoop has published an article that has just plain old made my day. Back in late November, Young Master Marcus Epstein took offense to something I wrote about he and his critics. (my response) The Palmetto Scoop has also been treated to a few of Master Epstein's complaints these past few months. Last week I brought you the story of the Simcox, Viguerie, and Alan Keyes plan to scam a third party run to the point where they could line their pockets, once again. Evidently I wasn't far off the mark. It appears as though the usual suspects are already starting to flock around the Constitution Party and Chuck Baldwin's considerable pockets. The Constitution Party is run by Howard Phillips who claims "Christian" and conservative purity and a loyalty to Reagan, but when Reagan was in office, Phillips was one of the first to betray him.

WE MUST ALL FORGIVE
This is a funny time of year for me. From about now until the middle of March is when the ‘bad stuff’ happens in my family. During the past three years I’ve lost my beloved Clancy (miniature poodle) Siggy, Brunhilda, GeorgieW, and years ago, my grandparents. Also three years ago starting around the first of March my mother started having severe heart problems that lead to her heart stopping twice. For the next 8 weeks or so I think my family walks on egg-shells.

Have you ever wondered about Hitler’s rise to power? I was fortunate enough to have a wonderful history teacher in high school who not only was a student of Nazi Germany, but spent many months as a POW in an Nazi prison camp. He escaped and ended up with Patton’s 3rd Army in Sicily, then through Germany. He spent quite a bit of time on the rise of Nazi Germany because he thought there was a lesson in it.
