SOMETHING IS WRONG WITH THIS PICTURE
Quin Hillyer wrote one of the nastiest hit pieces I’ve seen to date against Lindsey. Naturally he is channeling Michelle Malkin who has this pathological hatred of Lindsey. I think it’s because she dislikes anything Hispanic and Lindsey is not exactly a bigot, and sorta implied that she and her precious little friends are. I guess since she is promoting Buddy Witherspoon, we all know who is handling her leash – the John Tanton crowed. She’s also part of what I call the Dump Lindsey Movement. It’s all part of certain non-Republican ... more »

CONSERVATIVE NOT REPUBLICAN For months I've been telling you that there are certain conservatives who are no more Republican than Barack Obama is. Mark Levin just proved me correct. This is the WORST piece of you know what I've ever heard. This needs to end - now. Right now I am absolutely furious. I don't know when I have been so angry. We are dealing with people who are so warped that they do not comprehend they have destroyed the "brand" they once embraced. Maybe Mark Levin needs to go back and read the Contract with America. Not once in ... more »

IS HE JUST PLAIN SMART? (or) ARE CONSERVATIVES BETRAYING MCCAIN? John McCain betrayed conservatives yesterday when he caved to the dastardly theology of "Global Warming". Or did he? He addressed the problems of global climate change, which even the most conservative of thinkers acknowledges is occurring. Anyone who follows science news knows something is happening out there. Frankly, I go with the theory that humans aren't important enough in the great scheme of things to completely disrupt the planet unless they blow it up with a bunch of nukes. I don't see a Death Star anywhere, so until the Grand ... more » Sunday, May 11

THE CONSERVATIVE CANARD “…"Forty to fifty percent of the conservative leaders that I talk to at the national and state level either want the Republican to lose in November, or are ambivalent about it." Since the beginning of the movement, "We took the long range view. We didn't put all our eggs in any one election. We said that this isn't a sprint, it's a marathon." Viguerie said that he's telling his conservative friends not "to fear defeat." After all, GOP loses in 1964, 1974, 1976 and 1992 "cleaned out a lot of dead wood" from the Republican Party. ... more »

THE HISPANIC REPUBLICAN VOTE Rubin Navarrette has a PJ Media piece about the Mexican flag. There is a double standard. Anything Mexican is bad – evil, evidently. “…The point is, a lot of Americans look at anyone who waves a Mexican flag as secretly planning to take over the Southwest and hand it to Mexico. But they don’t suggest that anyone waving the Israeli flag - or the Irish flag, or the Italian flag or whatever - has something similar up his sleeve. In those cases, most people are likely to think that the display is harmless and that all ... more »

SHOWING THEIR TRUE COLORS There was something of a small feeding frenzy yesterday, lost in all the election news, about John McCain, his ideas about judges, and the extreme conservative reaction to it. Over the next few days I am going to be concentrating on the problems the GOP is facing with conservatives. It isn't that "conservative" is the problem. The problem is the fact that there is an entire breed of conservative that is not GOP and basically is wishing for the demise of the GOP. It is time we separate the conservatives from the Republicans and the honorable ... more »

THIS IS BIASED - THIS IS RACISM I want to tell you about a story I heard today. I am not telling who told it to me. The man is Hispanic. His family has been in New Mexico since the Conquistadors. THEY ARE REPUBLICAN. They have served in the military. They vote. They go to church, have jobs, and contribute to society. Unfortunately, my friend’s sister cannot find her birth certificate. She has lost her baptismal certificate. The state of New Mexico declares she was never born. She has a Social Security # and is receiving it. She has her ... more »

MICHELLE HATES MCCAIN Does this offend you? If it does, I suggest you join your little friends at Stormfront, or go flush some of your hard earned money down the coffers of any one of the minutemen groups. I also suggest you sit back, and breathe. There....in, out. Now sneeze. (wait, that's me). Think back on all the tales you remember - of Ronald Reagan's campaign. Think about all the GOP POTUS campaigns since then - and you might discover (if yo are willing to look) that EVERY Republican nominee for President of the ... more »

THEY BETRAY THEIR “CONSERVATIVE” IDEALS I think there is this false perception that I do not like conservatives, and have something against them. In a way that is true. I am conservative. The only change I’ve been through in about 20 years of political evolution is the fact that I am now against the death penalty simply because I am so staunchly pro-life. It is rather ludicrous to be against abortion, but yet want to put criminals to death. It just doesn’t work. Other than that, I am as conservative (maybe a little more) as I was when Reagan was ... more »

THE 'TRUE' CONSERVATIVE AGENDA From Border Fire Report (for what it’s worth) I keep telling you there are many conservatives who are not Republican. These are the individuals who have been doing all the agitating – and we’re not talking Ron Paul Bots. There is a division in the conservative ranks between libertarians, Constitution, and the new conservative party. The problem is these are the yahoos who basically cost the GOP the majority in the House and Senate in 2006. If we aren't careful and marginalize them, this will happen, once again, and could cost John McCain the election. They ... more » Monday, April 28

JUDICIAL WATCH GOES AFTER BIG MAC I’m not a fan of Judicial Watch. I think it is a crock. As if to prove my point, that my theory that certain conservatives are going to do all they can to ruin the man, Judicial Watch pops up and files a FEC Complaint against John McCain.“…“Recent news reports suggest that Sen. John McCain and John McCain for President may have accepted an in-kind contribution from foreign nationals Lord Rothschild OM GBE and the Hon. Nathaniel Rothschild of Great Britain in contravention of federal election laws,” Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton wrote ... more »

MALKIN’S HATRED OF JOHN MCCAIN When Aristotle defined hubris, he may have been thinking of Michelle Malkin."...Aristotle defined hubris as follows: to cause shame to the victim, not in order that anything may happen to you, nor because anything has happened to you, but merely for your own gratification. Hubris is not the requital of past injuries; this is revenge. As for the pleasure in hubris, its cause is this: men think that by ill-treating others they make their own superiority the greater...." NARCISSISTS AREN’T JUST DEM OR GOP One of the great third party narcissists, Chuck Baldwin, pulled off something of a coup this weekend and is now the Constitution Party’s nominee for POTUS. This is excellent news for John McCain because it is the very worst thing that could happen to Bob Barr’s proposed Libertarian Ego Fest. This could be the best of all possible solutions to the whole "Third Party" threat of any of these yahoos. These twerps are going to cancel one another's votes. They are vying for the same voter - the chip-on-the-shoulder, sore-head, dis-functional, hate-everything-different voter. ... more »

THEY ARE TRYING TO TAKE OVER THE GOP! It is called Restore the Republic. There is a master plan for Ron Paul Bots to take over the GOP county by county. Everyone has been laughing, saying this can’t happen, but evidently these little freaks are trying to take the GOP away from normal, decent Republicans. And, we’re so Republican, we’re allowing it to happen. The good thing is it looks like they aren't doing all that well. The bad thing is these freaks are organized. They remind me of the critters who couldn't be swatted in some bad sci ... more »

THE CONSERVATIVE TREASON LOBBY Libertarian blogs are buzzing at the possibility that Bob Barr will inflate his ego and run for POTUS, thereby preventing John McCain from winning and thereby allowing a marxist socialist victory. In doing so they will also doom our nation to deplorable SCOTUS appointments and a devastating war with Iran. Or as one suicide bomber conservative breathlessly reports “…Or, as Ronald Reagan said about leaving the Democrat Party, “I didn’t leave the party. The party left me.” There are many voters who feel the same way about today’s Republican party. Those voters could ... more »

GIVE IT A REST I was going to hold off on this one, but what the heck, I’m so preachy today let’s see who else we can offend! I’m annoyed with conservatives who are so darn egotistical they don’t think John McCain is pure enough for them. I say annoyed with liberals who are so stupid….anyway – maybe we should have a new category – stupid conservatives.Don’t these people realize if they do not vote for John McCain we are going to be doomed to a Barack Obama administration that will destroy the space program and all that we ... more » Monday, March 31

BIG MAC BLOGGERS Today the WTimes featured a piece by Stephen Dinan about how the blog world bailed out the McCain campaign. I wasn’t there during those do or die days where everyone but a few people, including Brad Marston, were burying John McCain. I do know there was not a great a blog presence for McCain as the Times would have the world believe. Captain Ed picked the story up at Hot Air. I find the revisionist history rather fascinating. ATTACKING BIG MAC I admit it. I am furious. I am so sick and tired of these people and the things they do about immigration reform I could say something really tacky. I’m not. I am furious at the way they take the word of a racist little twerp like Heath Schuler over John McCain over that deplorable SAVE Act. Somewhere it needs to stop. Right Pundits is resurrecting that debunked claim of DEMOCRAT Heath Shuler that John McCain blocked an yet another suicidal immigration bill. ATTACKING BIG MAC Look, just color me cynical. I’m worried. Things are WAY too good for John McCain right now. If this were October, I would be a very happy person. Unfortunately this is March. What goes up must come down, unless…. Something like this occurs: Condi may be interested in the VP spot. The Phoenix from Phoenix? HE JUST ISN’T PERFECT I’ve been telling you there is a certain group of conservatives who are making a heck of a lot of noise about not supporting John McCain. They are also making a heck of a lot of trouble for the GOP. I’ve also been telling you for two years that these folks have nothing to do with the GOP and are part of the Constitution Party. This is very serious. I think this is the reason we lost the House and the Senate in 2006. If John McCain were to lose in November, I would lay the ... more »

CONSERVATIVES NEED TO BEHAVE THEMSELVES Fortunately the Sun has set on the 4th Sunday in Lent so I can no longer use profanity. I wish, though I could. I think this WPost op-ed from Brent Bozell is THE LAST STRAW. That’s it. I give up. Let’s not even have an election. Let’s just give it to the Dems and roll over to play dead. That’s what Bozell is proposing. I just want to know, who the H-E-Double Toothpick died and made him God? I don’t understand what is wrong with these people. They are beyond belief. RUSH LIMBAUGH IS OUT OF TOUCH There is a bottom line here. From what I am starting to discover two things are happening out there. First, your real, honorable, honest Republicans are either un inspired but voting for McCain or absolutely furious with conservatives and talk radio and are ready to fight. The other thing – conservatives and fence sitters could care less and may not be voting. The primary reason is because of conservative talk radio and the trashing of John McCain. If these people do not either shut up or start behaving themselves we are going to end ... more » Monday, February 25

THE ULTIMATE FLIP-FLOP! According to the LATimes blog, one of Romney’s sons (Jack ) said Mitt is tanned, rested, and ready, and may rejoin the race if as a VP or if something happens to McCain’s campaign. “…Because he suspended rather than terminated his campaign, Romney still retains control of the nearly 300 delegates he's already won. Another former governor, Mike Huckabee, remains in the race and is nearing Romney's delegate totals, though few give him a realistic chance of catching McCain, with more than 900 delegates. SAME OLD SAME OLD? This is a very convoluted post. I’m going for the tabloid headline because I am annoyed to the point nearing fury. There are several things going on here and I think they are all connected. It is rather like follow the bouncing ball. My ‘gut’ reaction is this is all offered up now, all the you know what (It’s Lent and I gave up profanity) to help make Obama look good. A NEW THIRD PARTY Before we get to this new American Conservative Party, how about a little Ollie North Smackdown of them? Leave it to Ollie North. His endorsement for John McCain makes our Suicide Bomber Conservatives look like the petty little despots they are. THE AMERICAN CONSERVATIVE PARTY Pam Meister’s PJ Media article today thinks conservatives could doom the GOP in the fall. At least she is hoping it will.
