I can’t believe I sat down and watched a good 7 innings of the season opener. The Prez looked good. The ESPN interview they did with him was far superior to the White House Press Corp. After Lenten services at St. Pauls, we went to Bisbee to antique. If you are not familiar with Bisbee, Arizona, it is a rather picturesque enclave of abject liberals in the extremely conservative Cochise County. It is a Victorian mining town build on the side of a mountain, overlooking one of the great open copper pits. The two main streets are now lined with charming art galleries, antique stores, and unique little shops. I try to hit the shops at least once when I am in Tombstone.

By the time we reached Las Cruces today the temp was pushing 75! There was no wind, and only a few fluffy clouds in powder blue cotton candy spring sky.
