Laura Bush has instructed the White House be turned into the "Pink" House during October. Unfortunately it is just for the evening, with pink lighting, but it sure looks good. I can't wait for Sarah Palin to get there.
I'm stuck in a hotel with sorry television, and it is Wednesday night. Only thing to do is watch a movie. We're just reaching the point where the grizzled (but still incredibly sexy archaeologist) picks up his Fedora at the beginning of the movie. And people wonder why I'm such an archaeology buff.
We finally made it to Denver. The aspen in the high mountains is absolutely gold. Today was so overcast it wasn't worth even bothering with a photograph. With luck I may get up to Estes Park tomorrow.
Once again I am suffering from hotel internet service problems - for some reason the ISP where I am staying thinks I am doing something a little untoward with my uploading onto the blog. It is timing me out at 56K periodically.
